Crinkle bush/Parsley fern (Lomatia silaifolia) is a shrub native to eastern Australia in the family of Proteaceae. It usually grows in open forests and grows up to 2 meters. Attractive white flowers appear primarily in summer, with winged seeds released from fruits in Autumn.

In the sheltered woodland garden of Arduaine Garden, Scotland, the small evergreen tree Lomatia ferruginea (fuinque) was growing with its fern-like foliage. This plant originates in Chile and Patagonia and in summer can produce racemes of pale yellow flowers with a red throat.
