I. HATE. SMALL TALK.
Today, I had to work from the office and a boy sitting next to me started a polite conversation.
The boy: "Have you seen some interesting movie lately?"
Me to myself: Fuck. I don't watch movies. I haven't seen any movie for half a year. Not even any series. That's not normal. What do I say?
Me: "Uhh, not really... *silence* ... I rather watch concerts."
The boy: "Yeah? What kind of music do you like?"
Me to myself: J-rock. Fuuck. Shall I say that? Do I want to spend my time explaining to a laughing boy that japanese singing does not sound like wailing, that the language is not funny and that they don't play it all on traditional japanese instruments? No.
Me: "Some rock music."
The boy: "Green Day, I guess?"
Me: "NO."
At that lucky moment, another coworker came in with some issue I fortunately had to work on and the talk was over. Sigh. I don't belong among normal people and I don't want to belong there.
Take care of yourself.
Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul. If either your sails or your rudder be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in mid-seas. For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction. Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion, that it may sing; And let it direct your passion with reason, that your passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its own ashes. –
Kahlil Gibran via Loner Wolf, Why Am I So Emotional?
Involution is a word we coined to represent the inner evolution of the heart, mind and soul. In essence, Involution is not a dogma, creed or doctrine, but an experiential practice of life. You can observe it everywhere. Ultimately, Involution can help deepen, strengthen and liberate us, helping us to attain Self-Awareness, Self-Discovery, Self-Understanding, Self-Love, Self-Transformation and Self-Mastery through the process of internal growth and development. Involution can help us overcome our pain, lessen our suffering and live authentically again. It can help us to stop fragmenting our lives, providing us with passion, direction and wholeness. Involution can also help us to transcend our repetitive routines, blinding beliefs and stagnating ways of life. For too long many of us have been stranded fighting, striving and struggling to better our external lives. Better jobs, better clothes, better cars, better relationships, better social statuses, better financial situations … some part of us tends to believe that to nurture our external lives is to become better, smarter and wholer people. But it doesn’t. Many of us feel wary, bitter, alone and disillusioned at the end of the day. This is why Involution, the evolution of our inner selves is needed. Involution is needed because we still create suffering and we still perpetuate our illnesses and pain. We need an internal evolution because we are slaves to our bodies, slaves to our minds and slaves to our emotions. We are also slaves to people and slaves of the very society that conditions our minds with false, misleading, oppressive and repressive beliefs and values…
