Servel — the P-47 Thunderbolt.

Ion know how many people actually read this stuff but he was introduced to Earth during the WW2 era, like Luftwaffe. The difference is, he popped up in America instead of Germany.

Luftwaffe’s story intertwined with his eventually when the German is shot down and captured by American forced. After they put him back together, Servel is tasked with teaching Luft English and about the American culture.

Because of his German background, Luft is not received kindly by his peers, and is harshly bullied and abused. Servel is the only one to see him as an equal. Through this, they naturally bond.

//I will start something then. Note that I am a terrible starter... :D I stretched, trying to ease the ache in my limbs. Standing for ten hours straight on guard duty was not enjoyable. I stumbled back to my quarters, flopped down on my bed, then realized I was hungry. I groaned inwardly and struggled to my feet again. // have fun with this :D

The night was cold and dark, and a terrible feeling of emptiness was raising inside Lilith. Walking alone under the mallorn-trees of Lorien, she was not looking for anything in particular, but didn’t want to go back to her lair immediatly. The bitterness within her was too painful, and nothing seemed to be able to soothe it - even blood.

Although she didn’t dare to enter the kingdom of the White Lady, Lilith was silently pacing around it, waiting for something to happen.  After a while, she found herself in a place she didn’t know, apparently very close to the elven-city, for she could easily see the lights of Lothlorien. It seemed her feet had guided her there without any intervention of her mind.  

Everything was calm, but soon, Lilith noticed an elleth whom face was not unfamiliar. One of the guard probably, Lilith thought with a shrug. She should have turned and left this place, but her aching soul was longing for contact and so she decided to stay a little longer to observe the other, quietly hiding behind a massive trunk.

Cloak and Dagger - Takasugi and Saitou

A Brief Setting:

August 1863: Choshu leader Katsura Kogoro sent four ronin to infiltrate the Shinsengumi. They told the Shinsengumi commanders that they had fallen out with the Choshu-han officials and wanted to help track down other Choshu ronin illegally hiding in Kyoto. They were accepted into the group's ranks, then a few weeks later, confirmed to be spies and killed. 

At least that's how it happened in history. In Hakuouki Reimeroku, shortly after Serisawa's murder, the spies were given the choice between seppuku and taking the ochimizu. As far as I know, the game doesn't note their choice. 

Of all the hair-brained plots and conspiracies that plagued the country these days, the attempt to spy on the Shinsengumi had been the most dunder-headed Takasugi had ever encountered. What had Katsura been thinking, to imagine such a transparent cover story would work?

The four men had disappeared, but it was no mystery what had happened to them. They were mostly certainly dead. And with all the other problems facing them, no one in the Choshu compound was much perturbed by their fate. Death awaited the shishi at every turn, and the four men had gone on their mission knowing well the risks they ran. They weren't important people; Takasugi had barely known them.

But still . . . 

He'd seen a lot of those blue-coated Bakufu thugs since he'd returned to Kyoto earlier that week. They acted as though they owned the streets. 

Speak of the devil, while he was pondering this, a Shinsengumi patrol had entered the street. He hadn't seen the captain of this patrot: he wasn't as tall as some of the monsters they had, although Takasugi grudgingly judged that he was still a few inches taller than he was. And on his right side?

Takasugi stared, then a grin overtook his face. Stepping forward, he hailed the captain in a strong Choshu acccent, "Hey, sir, you've gone and put your sword on the wrong side!"
