Here’s some songs I dig. Maybe you’ll dig them too.

So I guess I got tagged by @punyhoomans to list out some songs for writing or whatever.

I’ll list out some songs because I like to. I’ve probably listed lots of them before! What do you think the over/under is that over half will be Gundam? Because I’m thinking about Gundam a lot recently apparently.

God I want a giant robot.

In no particular order:

Adventures of Mana - Endless Battlefield: So there’s a couple songs that are basically constantly running through my head (Here’s a few more) that are basically always running through my head as background noise because of when I played them as a kid. This is probably the most frequent, I’d say.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn - Mobile Suit:I really really really like Unicorn, for all it’s flaws, and the orchestral soundtrack is basically perfect, and this is probably my favorite of the pieces.

WALK THE MOON - Shut Up and Dance: Picked this up last summer after basically the best road trip I’ve ever had? Certainly up there. V good memories.

Two-Mix - Rhythm Emotion: This is really, really sad, but this might be the first song with lyrics that I actually really liked? It also instilled a love of techno and foreign music that I cannot understand. (Also Gundam Wing had hella good music in general too. There’s a theme here.)

Hamilton - Wait For It: Hey look it’s the me song fuck off.

Gundam Rock - Soldiers of Sorrow: Another remix, another Gundam song, this one from the original series. The original is brilliant and perfect and heartbreaking, but I kind of like understanding the lyrics. It’s literally perfect for (most) of the franchise.

Getter Robo Armageddon - Stoner Sunshine: I’ve... got an almost embarrassing amount of orchestral songs that are just meant to make things more interesting. Plus it’s called stoner sunshine.

TM Network - Beyond the Time: Hey look giant robots plus 80s rock what’s not to love.

The Seatbelts - Tank!: Theme song to literally my favorite show of all time ever. It’s perfect and I love it.

Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne - Fierce Battle: idk have a random pick from my randomizer

OH FUCK SUPER SPECIAL BONUS CHOICE Ricardo Autobahn - Golden Age of Video: There are some songs that are basically just parts of my psyche to the point where I automatically do some of the call/responses. This is one of those. And it’s super annoying because this shows up more often than you’d think.

Man if you made it through all this word vomit give yourself a pat on the back. And anyone who wants this can have it, I like seeing what people listen to.
