Pardon me as i ramble a bit about my first ever con.
So here's how it goes.
THIS WAS AN AWESOME CON!
It was pretty well organized. (except for a few delays on a few panels and the concerts.) I enjoyed myself quite a bit.
Saturday we got up pretty early (me and my mom at like 8 and Steampunk at like 430 because he was helping with the set up in the Grand Ballroom.) My cosplay came off pretty good. I wish i had taken a picture of it. Steampunk was MIA most of the day because he was wandering about while my mom and I went to panels and stuff.
He did enter the cosplay contest as his OC and he got a good cheer from the crowd. (I have it on film and it will be posted soon enough.) He didn't win but oh well.
After that we seperated again for dinner and then him and I met up at the concerts.
Speaking of the concerts, all of the artists rocked! (I got a hug from Forest Rain and i got to touch the ears he was wearing -squee-) After that we hit the beds like no other because we were so tired from such a long day.
Sunday Steampunk and I were together most of the day. We hung out in the vendor's hall alot. (I did the same on Saturday too.) Steampunk flipped a table for charity and got to hit a guy with a pie tin filled with shaving cream.
After another full day of fun, we ended the day at a greek restaurant just down the street with one of Steampunk's followers. The food was delicious.
All in all, a great weekend. I want to do it again next year.
