Today's wander up and around Longridge fell, down Birdy Brow and along the River Hodder back home. It was a grey and drizzly day but it didn't dampen the mood of the walk, the 8 miles was completed in about 2 and a half hours and I got home feeling good. Also, the low cloud and mist in the valley made for some good photos and a peaceful walk; it's like walking in a world of your own when you get caught in low cloud. The silence is all around, your views are limited in all directions and, as long as your not dealing with crags, drops or wet scrambles, it can be really relaxing. 👣👍😁❄️🌁👌
