here’s some more fun facts about each of the girls in the longterm couples universe (in addition to these fun facts from ages ago). If any contradict past fun facts or things I’ve said in the past- ignore it xo. These are super random but I hope you enjoy reading! <3
Poopsie:
Kind of a math nerd?! Like this gal was taking calculus in high school and was confused when everyone was struggling to grasp the concepts and equations
When Jin is cooking and he needs to double something, he has a human calculator who can add up the amounts of ingredients needed in her head. In other words, good at doing math in her head
Sends pictures to Jin of every piece of bts merch/bts themed item she happens upon. She’s at a bubble tea place and they have cups with bts on them? She’ll snap a photo and send it to Jin with a message that says “stop following me!”
On top of that, she also turns to the people around her and points out Jin on the merch and goes “isn’t he handsome? Wow”
Randomly sleeps in different environments just to mix it up. Like she’ll sleep on the couch just for fun or make a bed on the floor. Sometimes she’d even want to sleep with her head at the bottom of the bed or she’ll make a fort over the bed for a change in scenery
Refuses to use straws. She saw a video about sea turtles getting straws stuck up their noses and she simply will not be contributing to that. When Jin gave her reusable straws to keep in her bag she nearly cried at the thoughtfulness
The friend who is always reminding everyone to drink water
The most optimistic person when it comes to others and her outlook on the world but she doubts herself so fucking much
Really wants a dog but since she doesn’t have one she just invites herself over to the other couples’ places sometimes to play with their dogs- and the dogs would adore her
I think she would pick up a dog walking job if she had extra time but it would be bittersweet bc she’d fall in love with every pup and nearly cry when she had to take them back home Jin get Poopsie a dog!
Kid:
1/2 of the girls who has a playlist for every mood. She uses music to process her feelings or a certain situation
Retells stories. Like everyone she’s close to has heard every story at least three times
Somehow both a people pleaser and a “take me as I am or leave” person
Queen of compliments. The girl is handing out compliments to strangers on the daily, and if you’re her friend? Prepare to get an ego boost multiple times a day
Hyperfixates on pieces of media. Like she watched stranger things in one day and then found every single think piece, hot take, and funny video on tiktok and sent them all to yoongi like “LOOK!” and “I thought the same thing”
Always comments on Holly’s tiktoks praising her, hyping her up, or flirting with her
But then in person she’ll clown Holly for the same tiktoks (lovingly, of course)
Every gift she gives someone is so expertly wrapped it looks professionally done
Is literally so content sitting in bed all day watching tv shows- but then will get a burst of energy and NEEDS to go outside and do something
Often buys flowers on her way over to people’s places just to give them a little present
Petal:
Actually really loves cooking and baking
Like the type to watch cooking and baking shows and go “I could do that” and then takes over the entire kitchen
Definitely once picked lilacs off a tree to make lilac jelly bc she read somewhere that you can do that
And also picked enough to tuck some flowers behind Hobi’s ear
You know how she does pottery? Well all of her dishes are stuff she’s made (with pieces that Hobi has made)
I just have a feeling she skateboarded as a kid and she would pull out this random skill in front of Hobi and he’d be like ?!?! but very much in awe of her (basically she can do everything)
Keeps an old plushie from her childhood on her bedside table
I’ve said this before but she loves the moon. Would definitely wake up in the middle of the night and just go look at the moon for a bit
Has a green thumb
I feel like she would have a little garden of herbs to use for when she cooks
Daisy:
Massive sweet tooth. If there’s a dessert around, good luck keeping her away from it
Despite being super logical, she would have a really spiritual side. Like doesn’t take manifestation seriously but also yes she does and she absolutely writes out mantras and meditates
Probably wants to learn a million languages and probably knows like three almost completely fluently
Why do I feel like she watches HGTV and fawns over cool houses/renovations
Collects bts photocards- has a little photo album for them all
Documents everything when on outings, like she is the friend who is on top of taking all the photos… now we know who takes all those photos of Joon when he’s out and about
Loves Christmas movies. Like the really cheesy ones
Love romance movies/shows in general. The cheesier the better honestly
Unlike Kid, this girl will get so bored if she watches tv for too long- loves going out and doing things. Just like literally anything, just wants to go
Can be kinda moody but it’s fine, she’s allowed. WHO’S GONNA TELL HER TO STOP BEING MOODY?! NOT ME! (also kind of love the idea of Joon being with a girl with an attitude xo)
Dear:
Quizzes Jimin on history facts nearly every day. She finds a list of “what happened on this day” facts in the mornings and reads through them for Jimin going “Jimin, what happened on this day in *insert year here*?” (He never knows any of them but when he does they get so excited)
Loves RuPaul’s Drag Race
Probably wants to join a community theater or something
Also would love to drop in on Jimin while he’s in the dance studio, partly to see him, but also bc she wants to use the space to dance herself
Wants to learn a bunch of languages but can’t find the time to dedicate to it
Cannot get rid of her old stuffed animals. Maybe Toy Story had too much of an influence but this girl has never discarded a single stuffed animal
When Peaches makes playlists for her, Dear will type out detailed reactions and send it back as a thank you
Probably has scrapbooks where she prints out photos and creates cute little pages for them all. Jimin would eventually get her a scrapbooking station where she can do her thing in her own space
Along those same lines, she’s always taking photos of everyone and gets the best candids
Claims she’s a bad cook but when she cooks that meal is always amazing
Peaches:
2/2 of the girls who has a playlist for every mood. Enjoys putting songs together that reflect the feelings she’s been having
Cleans when stressed/angry/frustrated. Like she’s not a very big cleaner, she does what’s necessary, but when she’s upset the girl is on her hands and knees scrubbing the floors
Hates being told what to do
Like she might be on her way to do something but then someone will be like “hey, can you do that thing?” and she’ll stop and not go do the thing she was going to do simply bc someone told her to
So in other words (and this was in the other fun facts list but it’s major for her): she’s stubborn
Complains about people saying she comes across as mysterious and aloof but then also gets annoyed when people tell her she’s not mysterious and aloof
Really wants to be one of those people who goes to sleep early but even if she gets into bed early she’ll be up on her phone for hours
Gets distracted really easily. She simply cannot stay focused my dudes
Claims she’s a good cook but really only knows a handful of recipes really well
This is probably not a surprise with how people have always just kind of been drawn to her but she’s very sensual. I don’t think she even fully realizes it
Holly:
Collects mugs. Her cupboards are full of mugs and I think it would simultaneously annoy JK and endear him. Like he’d complain about how she has too many mugs but then he’d buy her mugs whenever he sees a cute one that he can picture her drinking coffee out of in the morning
Leaves little drawings on Jungkook’s things bc she’s cute
Puts off starting new tv series’ bc she knows they’ll take over her life
And she has this thing where she feels like she always has to be productive in some way. Struggles to just relax
You know that friend who always has snacks? It’s Holly. She’s that friend
Carries a polaroid camera with her often and always forgets to use it
I bet she has a well-followed tiktok account where she’d mostly post her artwork but sometimes would do silly trends and everyone would lose their mind over how cool and cute she is
Anytime she lifts something heavy, or takes the trash out, etc. and Jungkook tries to help she goes, “I don’t need a man” and struggles through the task just to prove a point
Kind of feel like she’s the type of person who never unties her tennis shoes so every time she puts them on it’s a struggle to pull them over her heel and JK one hundred percent makes fun of her
He would have a stash of videos of her struggling to put her shoes on where he’s just giggling in the background and in the majority of them she turns and flips him off
I would LOVE to see a fic where the girl confide in each other because they’re finding it hard being left out of the inevitable celeb life that the boys have to live…. like they boys are at an event or something and the girls can’t go but all they want to do is support so they lean on each other and then they have the big chats about how hard it is…. because yano… sad… frustrating :(((
I ALSO wondered about a fic where one of the girls needs reassurance cause their man has a big dating rumour going around… this gave me big Petal and Hobi vibes….. and Hobi’s just like?? Wait really??… This came to mind for me when Hobi and IU did their interview together…. glad to know I’m on the same wave length as another anon haha 😇
I'll definitely plan some fics to show different couples going through this kind of thing, and to show the girls leaning on each other during this stuff. It would definitely be very sad and frustrating, and I think the boys would feel that too actually
Hobi would be SHOCKED if Petal needed reassurance during a dating scandal bc he's so in love and she's just so secure and badass but I agree, that's why it would be a really interesting scenario. It would be really sweet to see them deal with that and to see Hobi assure her :( I'll add this stuff to my concepts <3
I’m curious too see what the couples fight about the most. Like between each couple what would be a sensitive subject between them two that would spark conflict between said couple?
Ooooh these were all kind of off the top of my head except Mads helped me with Jimin/Dear and Hobi/Petal so there could be other stuff but these are my first thoughts:
(idk specific subjects that would trigger fights for sure but I know certain attitudes and behaviors that would result in conflicts/make conflicts worse)
Jin/Poopsie: anytime she doubts his dedication to the relationship he’d get pretty pissy. Bc he doesn’t like being doubted in that way, like he loves her more than anything so he doesn’t appreciate the questioning of his devotion. And she’d get pissy back bc she’d be like WHY CANT YOU JUST REASSURE ME WITHOUT GETTING MAD AT ME. Also Jin is immature sometimes like this is a fact, and Poopsie is senstive, and he would make jokes at the wrong time and would either make Poopsie mad or make her sad.
Yoongi/Kid: I think Kid is the type of person to misdirect her grumpiness at the people around her sometimes so if she did that to Yoongi, he would get really annoyed with her. And then as soon as he gets grumpy with her, she'd get even more upset and it would lead to Yoongi getting pissed bc he thinks she can handle conflict immaturely sometimes. On the other end, I think Kid would sometimes not react well to Yoongi’s more blunt comments, like she doesn’t like criticism so she’d get really defensive about it. Even if the criticism is valid, she would not handle it well- though she might appreciate it in the long run.
Hobi/Petal: They’re both so stubborn honestly, they both think they’re always right. So even though they don’t argue often, if they get into it, they’re INTO IT bc neither will back down and admit fault. So arguments could get pretty heated I think. They don’t argue a lot though so like this wouldn’t usually be an issue but yeah, fights would take some time to get over bc of how stubborn they both can be.
Joon/Daisy: though Daisy is endeared by Joon’s lack of cooking/cleaning/overall every day life skills to an extent, she’d also get very annoyed when the household tasks fall on her shoulders. Like he would be reading or working or out exploring or something and she’d be cursing his fucking name as she’s cleaning the house and then he’d get home and she’d give him the cold shoulder or snap at him a bit. Cue Joon feeling bad and immediately going to do the dishes or something. Also I am a firm believer that Joon and Daisy feed off each other’s energy almost to a fault so if one of them is grumpy, the other one is grumpy, so they would get in fights during those times.
Jimin/Dear: Jimin can get sassy and Dear doesn’t respond well to it all the time. If he sasses her she’d sometimes get really annoyed and might actually get condescending in response. Like “are you one of my students? Are you five? How about you drop the attitude” and we all know when Jimin is mad he holds onto it- look at the dumpling fight and whatever goddamn fight him and JK got in where he wouldn’t even take JK’s calls lmao. Like the man is petty and Dear would find that infuriating. I also feel like these two have struggled to adapt to each other’s love styles in the past and despite working through that, they still tend to be a bit out of sync sometimes.
Tae/Peaches: I think when they have differing opinions about stuff it could lead to some pretty petty fights. Like Peaches likes when people agree with her lol and she gets a bit immature and pouty when people express negative opinions on her likes and interests or if someone differs with one of her values or takes. Like she’d be a bit like ??excuse me?? so if Tae says something in passing like “oh I don’t like that movie” or expresses a differing opinion than her she’d go into full defense mode, which would then annoy Tae. Like Tae is like “why can we never just disagree on something?” And Peaches would be too stubborn to let it go for a bit. And Tae would get a bit condescending in fights which Peaches would NOT appreciate in any way lol so that would just make shit worse.
JK/Holly: Jungkook would get a bit jealous sometimes and it would be pretty unfounded (bc he’d overthink shit and second guess stuff) which is fine but he would pick fights for attention, which would really anger Holly. She’d rather he just initiate a conversation rather than picking fights. And I also feel like he could be a bit nitpicky about Holly’s habits sometimes like for example: she leaves her dishes overnight to do in the morning and Jungkook would be like “but if we did them at night then we’d wake up to a clean kitchen” and she would get sensitive and annoyed with that. Which that leads to another point of contention which would be that JK wishes Holly was tidier and sometimes her lack of attention to organization and cleaning would annoy him.
I mean come on!! So tae/peaches, min/kid, holly/jk of them lol
Stop this is literally so funny, I love it. These three couples for sure, they would very much be like "look, I know I look super hot in this, but please I'm just not in the mood so control yourself" and then they'll come out in the most ridiculous outfit they've ever worn in their lives. And Tae would play along so well, JK would be so fucking amused, and Yoongi would be utterly fond
I love how the boys Instagrams are such a reflection of their personalities… and it got me thinking
So, your question of the day is! What would each of the girlfriends Instagrams look like? Who would carefully compile their aesthetic, who would post super blurry and zoomed in pics like a Gen Z, who wouldn’t post at all? I am curious 🥰
oooh this is an interesting question! just thinking on the top of my head i think:
poopsie: rarely posts but when she does it's photo dumps with a mix of the most aesthetic photos ever and absolute fucking chaos. also would post dorky zoomed up photos on jin's face with captions like "worldwide hottie" and "worldwide babe" and "did someone say handsome?" also no filter ever
kid: she'd be so aesthetic with her posts. rarely posts herself but is queen of scenery shots, food photos, and candid pics of her honey boy and min holly
petal: posts ootd and posts on her story often with updates throughout her day. consistent with filters and editing. she's good at instagram in like a very pleasing, pretty, professional way. also lots of hobi and mickey bc she loves her little family
daisy: for every "candid" joon photo he posts on his instagram, there's another variation of it on daisy's instagram. and she'd also post random art pieces she sees on their outings and they'd be accompanied with captions like "i'm an expert on edgar degas now 💅 might fuck around and teach some art history classes or something" or "sometimes! art doesn't make sense" under a photo of some contemporary art piece. also flower power + poopsie breakfast outings
dear: posts whatever she wants whenever she wants, there is no rhyme or reason. one post is a super cute couples photo of her and jimin, the next is supposed to be a sunset but she dropped her phone taking it so it's just a blur of colors, and the next is a series of photos of her and peaches hanging out together
peaches: another one that rarely posts. but then posts several things at once. not in a photo dump though, like they'd all be individually posted. you'd get her and tae being hot together, very boyfriendy photos of tae, super amazing photos that she took showing off her photography skills, a text conversation with her and kid flirting, a dear appreciation post, a full slide of yeontan playing, the back of yoongi's head while he's working in his studio with "😈" as the caption, chaotic videos of taehyung and the gang, and blurry aesthetic photos of tae on date nights and outings
holly: so fucking gen z. memes all over her story, queen of the photo dump, so many photos and videos of jk and their dogs, her boxing with jungkook giggling at her in the background, emo jk and holly looking hot af, etc etc. also always posts music she's listening to on her story.

Ok, a long time ago I talked about making a quiz for you all to take and find out which girl in the longterm couples you are… I never did that. BUT luckily for us, @miragehoseok did! I’m absolutely thrilled that this quiz exists and I think Rose did an amazing job with it. So thanks to Rose, we can all be even more delusional and see which girl we fit the most lol. How CUTE but devastating would that be…. the boys go to MAMA or something, and the girls want to support so they all get together to watch it live show and when the boys come on screen someone like Daisy pipes up out of nowhere and is like “I know it’s what we signed up for, but do any of you also find it hard that we’re never gonna be able to be a part of that side of their life?” and all the others are just sitting there like 😮 And then they all comfort each other cause they’re like SAME 🥺 Bless
