Solar Return (The Year Ahead) 🎂

• SR Ascendant in Natal 1st or 2nd: The Glow-Up Year💄💰 - This is a major indicator of increased confidence, income, self-worth, and physical visibility.

• SR 4th House Stellium: A year defined by privacy and redefining safety. You may redecorate, move, or withdraw socially to protect your peace.

• SR 10th Lord in the 6th or 8th: Indicates work in healthcare🏥, crisis management, or handling "taboo" topics.

Example: My sister had this when she started as a Psychiatric Nurse (combines 6th house daily service/health with 8th house psychology/crisis).

• SR Saturn (7th Lord) in the 8th: A heavy placement for relationships. It forces you to confront intimacy wounds, fear of betrayal, or karmic patterns.

Honorable mention: It can also indicate starting a business in the occult or astrology.

• Solar Return Venus in the 7th house (especially Aquarius) brings online attention, collaborations, female partnerships, or running a relationship-based business. Also a top-tier placement for launching an online creative or astro-business. (I had this when I started this blog🤌)

• Solar Return 7th lord in the 12th house: Can indicate issues/obstacles in longterm relationship due to mental health or isolation/detachment of a partner. It can also indicate going to the psychologist due to marital issues. On the other side it could indicate a long distance/intercultural relationship or travelling with partner or international/online partnerships/business.

• SR Moon in the 2nd House: Can indicate weight fluctuations or emotional eating - especially if aspected by Jupiter (expansion) or Neptune (lack of boundaries).

• North Node in the 5th house of Solar Return: Can indicate pregnancy desires, "casual dating" phase, creative risks, or changing views on romance/fertility/children. ⚠️ Rahu expands so be mindful with affairs.

• Solar Return 9th lord in the 12th house often marks the end of college years or completion of higher education. Because 12th house can represent endings. (Final year energy.)

Synastry & Connections 🔗

• 10th House Synastry: Power/ IT Couple Vibes. 💑 You are seen as a unit. Together, you build a legacy, reputation, or public image that demands respect.

Honorable mention: This can also apply if one partner’s 10th lord is strongly aspected by the other’s personal planets.

• Saturn Conjunct Mercury: A "Lost in Translation" aspect🥲. It creates communication blocks and frustration early on - but if you push through, conversations eventually become the most intentional and structured part of the bond.

• Moon-Venus Synastry: Not as wild as Moon-Mars, but deeply wholesome. It indicates comfort through touch and "cute" affection.🤧

Example: Cynthia Erivo (Moon) & Ariana Grande (Venus) share this in the 5th house - which explains their affectionate public dynamic.

• Synastry Longevity Rule (Simon Chokoisky): Long-term potential increases when synastry activates more benefic houses - 1st (attraction), 2nd (stability), 5th (romance/children), 7th (commitment). Heavy emphasis on 6th, 8th, or 12th house overlays can create intensity or karmic pull, but often weakens long-term sustainability. The healthiest dynamics are mutual and balanced. When one partner overlays mostly malefic houses while the other activates benefic ones, it can lead to unequal investment, unrequited feelings, or being “out of sync.”😓

• Having the Same Darakaraka (DK) planet: Not necessarily bad! It often means you value similar things in a partner, but because the sign/house placement differs, you express it differently.

Love & Romance 💖

• Rahu Transiting the 7th: Brings partners who feel "unfamiliar" or outside your usual type. Expect intercultural relationships, unconventional unions, meeting someone under strange/accidental circumstances or even accidental pregnancy (7th house is also connected to fertility)

• Ashesha Venus: The "Testing" Lovers. They can be dramatic or playful ("You don't love me like you used to!"/ "Stop clinging to me!"), but this usually stems from a deep need for emotional presence, not malice. Very cat like🤭🐈‍⬛

• Asteroid Lova (868): An underrated indicator of people you fall in love with. Looking at the degree, sign and house of this asteroid you can find the big 6 of the people you date and even marry.

Examples: Rihanna has Lova in Libra and Asap Rocky has a Libra Sun; My dad has Lova in Sagittarius 17° (leo degrees); my mom has a Sag Moon plus Leo Venus/Mars.

• Mercury in the 5th House: Approaches romance with curiosity👀. They want to "study" their crushes, keep things lighthearted, and explore people like a new hobby. On the downside they can be really anxious about romance and overthink (especially if aspected by saturn/rahu).

• Mula Nakshatra Natives: They reject surface-level connections because they need to understand the root (Mula)🌱 of everything - including their partner's psyche.

• 7th Lord or DK Aspecting Atmakaraka (AK): Indicates a partner who helps you find your soul's purpose. It often manifests as intense "mirroring" energies - twinflame/soulmate💫.

Other Observations 💭

• The "Martian" Nose👃: A prominent bridge or "hump" on the nose is frequently observed in those with strong Scorpio or Aries influence (big 6 placements in tropical)

• Sun-Moon Hard Aspects (Natal): Can reveal the relationship between parents. Squares or oppositions often indicate parental incompatibility, leading to arguments or emotional distance or separation/divorce💔.

• Creativity Insomnia: Sudden bursts of inspiration often happen if the 5th Lord or 5th House is aspected by Rahu or Ketu.

Example: My 5th Lord is conjunct Rahu in gemini, and I often can't sleep because I feel the sudden urge to write! ✍️

• Venus in the 12th (or aspecting 12th lord or venus ruled 12th house): Dreaming about love or your future spouse. If conjunct Ketu, you might dream of past crushes or exes.🤦‍♀️

• Saturn Transit Aspecting the 9th or 12th Lord: Doesn’t always deny travel, but often delays it. Expect rescheduling, cancellations, visa issues, fatigue, or extra responsibilities attached to the trip. Saturn asks for planning, patience, and realism. 🧭 Tip: Try to plan things ahead and avoid scheduling trips when the Moon is transiting the afflicted sign or house😅.

• 4th lord in 9th house: Family plays a major role in shaping your dharma, belief system, education, or spiritual values. You may inherit religion, morals, or life philosophy directly from your parents, especially the mother and in some cases view family figures as guides, teachers, or even god-like. (If the planet is malefic or heavily afflicted, this influence can feel controlling, dogmatic, or imposed, rather than chosen freely.😑)

Note: This post is based on general patterns and observations. The way a placement plays out can really depend on the sign, house, aspects and overall condition of the chart. Every chart has its own story, so always take what resonates and look at the bigger picture.
