PSA about my job
So about 3 weeks ago, me and the rest of the content creation team were fired from lookhuman due to the company not having the funding to keep going. But they are still selling our work because they need enough money to close?? I don’t understand what that means. But just know that you are no longer supporting any artists by buying from them anymore, so unless you REALLY want a design I created, I ask that you refrain from purchasing it anymore due to the fact you are no longer supporting me by purchasing from them. I am extremely hurt since I loved my job, the people I worked with were incredibly kind and understanding [especially of my chronic pain] but I will say there were MAJOR problems that never seemed to be resolved, no matter how much we said anything... things that would have kept the company open and going had we been listened to, but ya know, we’re just artists, we don’t know anything, right? TL:DR I’m jobless now, buying my designs from lookhuman no longer supports me, the company is shutting down but is still selling my designs, this could have been avoided but nobody listened to us. if anyone knows of any jobs hiring for someoen with my skill sets, I’d love to hear about it. until then, i’ll be freelancing and creating my own t-shirt designs [not sure where i’ll be putting them]
