just remember, kids, if someone says a couple doesn't look queer, it means that someone is cissexist, and it doesn't mean a damn thing about the couple they're attempting to classify. I'm in the longest, queerest relationship of my life and if we "look like a straight couple" to you, that's because of your cissexism and not because of who we are or how we present. Roommate tales

One time my roommate was at a party and some guy told her she didn't "look" like a lesbian. Her reply was "I'll look like a lesbian when I'm eating out your girlfriend motherfucker!" She may have almost gotten punched but it's still the most badass thing she's ever done
