Reasons I might ship it: Lux is a reasonable and understanding snowflake and she would take very good care of her delicate PTSD-having Prince. In all seriousness Jarvan is just about the best possible end-game she can imagine when it comes to her love life, and if he were kind and good to her she would reciprocate. You have two people who have been raised by the Demacian standards of generosity and mercy and selflessness- that could be an incredibly beneficial relationship for both of them. Also, Garen would be best man at their wedding and c’mon you know he would cry like a baby giving his toast.

Reasons I might not ship it: You know the whole ‘ha ha marriage how’s the old ball and chain’ joke that weird antisocial single guys make? J4 would literally be a ball and chain- if marriage does become her end-game, that’s it. She is going to become his Queen, have and raise his children, sit dutifully at his side and be looked at as an absolute fucking monster if she ever leaves him. That’s not how you create a healthy relationship. Also, the way that I HC the whole ‘arranged marriage’ thing working amongst the nobility is that in most cases, either party would be able to veto a match (if their parents were reasonable). If Lux quietly went to her mother and father and told them that, no, she isn’t the least bit interested in the Buvelle boy, so could she possibly not? They would nod their heads and find someone else. Because she did it without publicly insulting another house and with fucking tact, FIORA. Now, on the other hand, if she were set up with J4? Haha, you can’t say no to that. You can’t claim that the Prince of Demacia isn’t a suitable match for you, that’s a fucking insult to the Crown. Now sure, she wouldn’t be executed, nobody would be exiled, Demacians aren’t unreasonable- but she would be looked at as either A: a goddamn idiot or B: An awful person.
