11. "If I die, I'm going to haunt your ass."

“I don’t want to do this,” Regulus mutters, looking at the square in the palm of his hand with something that falls between horror and disgust.

“Well, then don’t,” Sirius scoffs. “Nobody is forcing you to drop acid with us. In fact, you invited yourself.”

Regulus raises an eyebrow at his brother. “I’m doing this shit, I don’t care, stop talking.”

“Hey, it’s alright,” James tells him, throwing an arm around his shoulders. “I’ll make sure you stay in the dorm and don’t do anything stupid.”

“Why would you need to make sure I don’t do anything stupid?” Regulus asks, eyes wide open. “What is this going to do to me?”

Remus rolls his eyes and takes the square from Regulus’ hand.

“You’re gonna see some funny shit, you’re gonna panic a little and in a few hours you’ll be right back to normal, time is gonna fly by, trust me,” he explains. “Now don’t be a pussy and open your mouth before we kick you out of the dorm.”

Regulus frowns but opens his mouth anyway, and lets Remus place the little square on his tongue. He sticks it to the roof of his mouth, scowling at the bitter taste it leaves behind.

“Death is an uncommon but not unheard of side effect, by the way,” Peter comments. “Just a little heads-up.”

What the fuck?

“He’s joking,” Sirius is quick to interject, leaning back against the headboard of Remus’ bed. “I’m pretty sure nobody has ever died from dropping acid.”

“Well, if I die, I’m going to haunt your ass,” Regulus hisses.

“When you die, Reggie. When you die.” Peter laughs, popping a square into his mouth. “See you on the other side!”

Regulus regrets having ever stepped into this fucking dorm.

Alright so this one is probably 5% plot and 95% vibes. Remus works at the Evans’ ice cream shop over the summer, both to spend more time with his best friend and to get some extra money in. I’m thinking a sleepy beach town in Cornwall… mean seagulls… eccentric yet lovable locals… unpredictable weather…. Ya get the vibe. And Sirius is the reckless surfer boy that suddenly starts to frequent said ice cream shop A WHOLE LOT. It’s because he has a newly discovered sweet tooth, of course… No other reason🤭 Featuring bonfires, stargazing, and Remus in a silly ice cream parlor uniform (imagine what Steve and Robin wore in Stranger Things… hat and all). Hope u get the vibe!!!
