Mug of Spools of Thread
i unravel like a loose thread
on your favourite sweater
and i can not help
but stare back into your deep blue eyes
and lose myself
in the familiarity
of your warm embrace

A world where the nearest equivalent to the fae are "aspects"--elements or abstract concepts of various power levels that bond with humans for... ?
I know at least one aspect loyalty expresses as basically a weredog. It's either known or becomes known that aspects can.. change, as when this character or a similar one becomes Obession instead, and manifests in that werewolf eat-your-kin-curse.
I'm thinking an aspect of speed is a werefalcon, but I'm getting stuck in an animal rut and that isn't always the case--there are also tangible things like a minor aspect of a snowflake who's pretty much just a human with Sight for all the good it does them, and.. I dunno, pending.
Fairy Tail Question
Is Lucy’s luck ever really explored? They hint at there being something special, especially around the Tenrou Arc but nothing ever really comes of it. I think it would have been neat to take that plot device and actually go somewhere with it, Celestial Spirit Magic as a whole really could have gotten more development, I think. The idea of it has so much potential and the Heartfilia family history too, a matrilineal line of celestial spirits who may or may not come from nobility in a country where the Princess/Queen is also a celestial spirit mage? (was that ever confirmed in the manga or it is it anime only?) I guess the worldbuilding in general is a lot of wasted potential. Mashima gave us such a wonderful world and then never really explores it, kind of reminds me of the lost potential in Naruto and its political landscape which could have been so interesting and then was ignored in favor of cliche shounen power boosts and big energy/monster fights.
Loose Thread ~*~ [Attunzel]
@rapunzelcorcna
Attina could not find the netting that she needed for the wings of the flying monkeys. It was this lovely grey pearlescent fabric. One would think it would be easy to find, but Attina had looped around the tables where fabric was strewn this and that way about four times now.
Things were well underway with the play. This was about the time where things started coming together. Practices became more intense. There was now deadlines to get certain costumes done so that fittings could occur and dress rehearsals for some of the more complicated pieces could begin.
Attina thrived on the organization and flutter of it all. Being busy kept her mind from wandering and that was all that mattered to her at the moment.
“Oh! Rapunzel, hi!” Attina said, coming around a corner and seeing the younger woman at one of the tables.
“You haven’t seen that pearlescent string we are using for the flying monkeys have you? It seems to have walked off somewhere.”
When you realise you're not the third wheel. Or the fifth. Or actually the 7th. You're more something like the 13th wheel!
Sometimes I wonder why I hung onto a loose thread for so long.
