Rose (LoR) and Lesti with a S/O Headcanons (Separate):
Rose (LoR):
Rose is someone who’s quick, fluent, and focused in her actions. When it comes to working, she tries to get done with it as quickly as possible. She doesn’t rush it to the point she makes mistakes, but she can certainly leave behind her other workers without even realizing it. She just wants the work to be done, and honestly who can blame her?
In general she’s someone who often enters a sort of zone when she’s paying close attention to something, and it leads her to blocking things out. It’s beneficial in being able to distance yourself from the horrors that the cleanup crew have to face, but can be a bit difficult when someone’s calling her name and she doesn’t even realize it.
To colleagues she’s seen as a more untalkative person who could be a bit difficult to approach. She may seem even a bit intimidating to newcomers with her very direct personality, but she’s in no way mean. She does share some concern for the people she works with, after all.
However with you this silence takes on a whole new different feeling. It’s not like she’s quiet because she’s irritated, but rather because she’s listening and taking in details. It helps her especially absorb details you might bring up in conversation when introducing her to something new, or just habits of yours.
If you’re someone who stresses out a lot to the point you can become overwhelmed and struggle to think, she can help out a lot! In general she’s rather calm in comparison, and her words are in a level tone that doesn’t make you panic more, but helps with understanding.
She might also just be able to walk straight over and solve the problem you’re having after taking a moment to figure out what’s going on. You might be a bit confused as to what’s going on at first, because she doesn’t really state what she’s doing, but next thing you know it’s all good.
Has a very soothing feel to her that makes you feel comforted and safe. While she is certainly not opposed to physical affection, quality time is a big favorite of hers. She just likes having you in her presence and knowing you’re nearby.
A big motivator of hers when it comes to getting through work is so that she can see you. Even if you do have the same job, it’s just this desire to pull through so that you can spend your time together freely.
Rose is someone who always comes through on her promises. It’s just a big moral principle of hers to fulfill any genuine deals she makes, even if they aren’t bound on contract. Because of this she’s an extremely reliable person, and you can count on her to get things done.
She’s actually quite handy! Whether your equipment happens to be a bit damaged, or it’s just a leak around the house, she knows how to repair quite a few things. It’s a skill she picked up when being hired for W Corp just in case something ends up breaking.
If you’re someone who tends to sort of be lost on current events, she’ll keep you up to date. She’s very interested in the recent happenings of the city and in her freetime tries to keep up with it. This provides her not only with entertainment, but also knowledge about possible dangers.
I feel like she’d be a bit protective or at least like to make sure that you’re not going anywhere with possible harm. Of course you can still do things on your own but say you’re going shopping, she’ll ask where and ensure there’s nothing going on there in the latest reports. Should there be, she’ll advise a different route or a different place altogether.
If you want to give her a nice gift that she’ll absolutely love, think about something shinier like jewelry. It doesn’t have to be expensive, she just loves when things look really clean and pristine. I can absolutely see her wearing something like a maybe more simplistic necklace with topaz or sapphire? Nothing too over the top, but still pretty.
She’s a very neat person so you don’t have to worry about the living space looking like a mess. It’s a bit of a de-stressing activity for her to just put on some music and begin organizing things.
Similarly she gets a bit overwhelmed and unsettled in super cluttered and nasty places. It’s a bit different when she works in W Corp because they have the appropriate gear to deal with everything, but she’d prefer not being reminded of that outside of the job. She might even have a bit of claustrophobia.
You can also expect for the house you may have to have a brighter color scheme. Of course it’s not an eyesore, but I feel like it’d be a personal choice to just give a more happier and homey feeling. Cold and dull colors just kinda make her feel tired.
She gets allergies and it’s miserable. However it’s not too bad, because it’s an excuse to have you close to her. She’s noticeably more affectionate when she’s feeling gloomy or sick.
After long days of work the first thing she’ll do when she gets home is fall on the couch or head directly to bed and lay down. You are absolutely welcome to join her, and it’s nice for her to be able to embrace you to sleep.
She’s more introverted and if you’re someone more extroverted she’ll feel a bit bad. Of course the two of you can still go out, but social situations where there’s more people is really draining for her. Of course you’ll probably understand and tell her there’s nothing to worry about, and this doesn’t stop her from letting you know she loves you.
A subtle way of showing her care is to come up to you, brush her arm past yours, and stand beside you in whatever you’re doing. If that’s a bit of a bad description imagine how animals will brush against you to show their love, it’s kinda like that.
Overall a lot of her attachment will be shown through fleeting contact and brief gestures. She might just randomly wrap her arm around yours, and then let go a couple of seconds later.
A lot of this is just subconscious and passive behavior! If the two of you wanna spend time together just being sweet she is completely willing, she has nothing against long hugs or similar.
There are plants all over your house. Whether they’re potted or flowers in a vase that she gifted you, they’re almost everywhere you look. She gives off the feel of someone who would like monstera plants, just ones with real big leaves. I think it’s because it makes the place seem more lively.
All in all she’s a great partner who though isn’t too talkative, will let you know she loves you. Definitely ideal if you’re someone who’s looking for a more quiet and comfortable life, just enjoying your days as they come.
Lesti:
Lesti is full of energy which means you can expect a lot of adventures with her. Especially those of which include finding new restaurants and food spots to dine at, as that is a hobby of her own and a personal favorite thing to do.
In fact the majority of her income is actually spent on meals. Of course there are taxes and such as any citizen has to pay in the city, but rather than a house full of decorations she saves that money for eating out. It will get expensive after a while, after all.
This means that the both of you though will have plenty of dates, as well as fun being able to experience large varieties of different dishes. There’s honestly not much you haven’t tried at this point, and if there is, you can bet the two of you will be on a date there shortly.
While she’s certainly not a picky eater, it can be a bit funny to see how Lesti seems to examine the different foods. It’s as though she’s a gourmet taste tester, and she’ll comment on the slightest hints of flavor and rank the restaurant compared to the others you’ve been to.
Honestly if that was a well paying job in the city and she hadn’t already secured work in a wing you wouldn’t be surprised if she applied for it. An opportunity like that would probably be snatched up quickly though.
Because she tends to be all over the place this leads to quite a bit of anxiety for her, but to have someone who can reassure her really helps out a lot. Whenever she can’t be certain about something it’ll cause doubt to overtake her, and for her mind to sort of become scrambled.
She also will cling onto you if freaked out or worried. You’re a source of comfort for her, and she does it without even realizing. You might have to let her know to loosen her grip though, because depending on how worked up she is, she might end up squeezing your arm until it hurts.
You can talk some sense into her though and help her calm down. A lot of the time it’s honestly over something that doesn’t matter too much, but even if it is more significant it doesn’t help to panic.
She’s rather new at W Corp, and the moment she gets the job she will tell you and she will be overjoyed! You can expect some tight hugs from her as she’s practically running all over the place from excitement.
It’s impossible for her to sit still at times like this. She’ll look at the letter she got, leap onto the couch and stuff her face in a pillow, get up moments later and start speed walking to the kitchen to find something to eat even though she isn’t hungry, then run over to you to be super affectionate.
It’s kind of concerning how nonchalant she is when telling you how her days go. There have been multiple occasions where she’s nearly let a detail slip that would go against her contract, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if she has accidentally spoken about something she wasn’t supposed to.
You just sort of have to try and do a favor to omit most of the things from your memory, or at least not bring them up to other people, so neither of you end up in trouble. Her slight recklessness is probably just because it’s new and exciting, and nothing permanent.. Hopefully.
When she’s so enthralled in the subject of the conversation she talks quite fast. Sometimes her sentences will mess up because she hasn’t even completed the full thought in her brain, and she’ll talk so fast she runs out of breath.
This happens a lot when she explains something she’s passionate about. It’s like she has no idea where to start, and she’ll have to retrace her steps to try and make something at least slightly coherent for you to understand.
If you don’t mind, I imagine that she would play with your hands, hair, or coat. It gives her something to focus on while close to you. It can help calm her down too if she’s a bit overwhelmed, or distract her while you might be busy.
Back to the previous topic of dinner dates I actually think she’d try to sit next to you rather than across from you most of the time. It’s nice when you’re allowed to pick where you want to sit (she always chooses booth seats by the windows), but even if you’re given a table for two she’ll see if she can move her own seat. She doesn’t care about the strange looks she may get, she just wants to be with you.
She’s really good with words, and she will absolutely use this skill to flatter you. Don’t worry about it feeling disingenuous either, it’s much like a rain of compliments all at once (unless you want it to be), but instead genuine praises and remarks that come out of nowhere.
You could be sitting on the couch just watching some tv when she walks in and comments on how she really likes the outfit you put together. Specifically how the colors may look good on you, or just the design of it. Even if it’s something you just quickly threw together you can’t help but feel nice.
She’s pretty clingy in that she loves to hold your hand and hug you a lot. Psychical touch is probably one of the biggest methods of showing affection for her, and it’s quite clear. Sometimes she’ll just come up to you, lift your arm, and wrap it around herself out of nowhere.
If that somehow wasn’t enough to make you certain about how much she is heads over heels for you, then the fact she tells you that she loves you almost every 5 minutes you’re together does.
Now it depends what kind of animal, and if you have a shared house, but I can see Lesti wanting a pet so bad. It’s between a dog, skink, or rats. I’d say she’d be interested in a ferret but they need really careful care and a lot of attention which might be hard to give with a job at W Corp.
Ultimately anything that’s sociable to an extent is something she’d be up for, and in the end she just wants something the both of you can look over. And don’t you worry, she intensely does research to ensure that the creatures have the best lives possible.
