The First Resident of the Glade

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the first resident of our little glade, Lord Gimli.

Gimli can be best described as an orbular little guy who enjoys surveying his kingdom from his upper balcony. He is very adamant the glade be kept in order and will not hide his dissatisfaction if his standards are not met. Food bowls must be filled on time, his daily variety selection of vegetables simply must contain radicchio, and his enclosure must be kept very clean. He greatly enjoys being pet while watching his human subjects video games and often grooms said subjects due to their inability to meet his hair styling requirements. Gimli is very loved but is also very reserved. Often seeking solitude and mounds of hay over companionship. He is currently at odds with the court jester but perhaps one day will enjoy her company.

Marianas Trench, definitely. But at the moment I’m very much enjoying Gone, Gone, Gone by Phillip Phillips.

Nah.

50. Do I have someone of the opposite sex I can tell everything to?

Well idk about everything but sup urbanizedhollow you’re definitely cool and I trust you and shit and yeahhh eheh

60. Do I prefer to be behind the camera or in front of it?

Depends on the day, honestly! I loved doing Marceline and making people happy and taking pictures because it was the cutest thing but I also have a giant-ass beautiful camera for the very reason that my dad noticed I loved taking pictures and gave me his. So both :)

70. What was the worst injury you’ve ever had?

Well injury not that bad. Sickness I almost died like multiple times as a child, but worst physical injury was during hockey when I got caught between a girl going down and the boards, and she fell on me and my ankle got caught and tilted at a rather unnatural angle. Then I promptly tried to get back up and skate to the bench pff. But sprained ankle.

80. What is my favourite word?

I rather like the word ‘rucked’ at the moment

90. Failed a class?

I got 50% in Planning because I honestly didn’t give a fuck ehe

100. Did drugs?

Nope! Not necessarily adverse to the idea of blazeit420, but would only do it with someone I trust and who had experience so never really done it.

110. Gotten my heart broken?

Nnnnot romantically no

120. Wore make up?

Don’t usually like wearing it out but I find it incredibly fun doing full on crossplay contouring so I think that counts? Plus cosplay.

Hell yes. I love my grandpa.

JIM AND BONES HEADCANON GO

MELLI I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THANK YOU

So we all know Bones and Jim were roommates at the academy, and can make some assumptions about how Bones has had to fix Jim up multiple times because the 'damn idiot can't stay out of trouble for five minutes'. We can also assume they got embarrassingly drunk together and laughed and cried about their pasts and bonded over their love of the countryside or some strange shit like that. My favorite bit comes in when I remember that his daughters birthday might be on a bad time of the year, when he can't make trips back to Earth and visit. When he has to settle with voice calls or vid screen play dates because he has three finals in two days and he can't make the time to study and take a shuttle back up in order to even spend just an hour with her. When all he has is her smile on a screen, some whiskey, and Jim. 

Jim knows it's hard on him, he obviously doesn't have the same experiences or loved ones he misses, but he knows how deeply and richly Mccoy cares about people, and how this is all that times an infinity for his little girl. He tries not to talk much, just pours the poor man another drink when his glass gets empty, and offer his company.

What Jim could never understand, is just how much Bones appreciates it. How the long, silent nights and warm presence gives him a rock to rebuild his strength on. How the compassion and patience in Kirk's bright eyes gives him the willpower to face another day. How, despite how deeply and richly he cares about people, and how immensely he loves his daughter, Jim is as important to Mccoy as breathing. Jim and Joanna are his family, and that means more  to him  than all the stars and galaxies that surround them times an infinity.

Well that depends are we talking I can make one person do one thing or many people do one thing or one person do anything ever or what?

I dunno though. I'd like people to actually talk to me occasionally that'd be swell

on a larger scale I'd like people to not be dicks to each other all the time but that sounds like it'd take a lot of effort as I'd have to somehow talk to everyone and everyone has a different definition of acting like a dick so then I'd have to explain exactly what I meant by that so you know what I'm going to go with my first answer

Physics! I'd say art except I really hate art classes

His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman is my absolute favourite, seconded closely by the entire Dragonriders of Pern universe/series, the Wicked Lovely series, and I feel like I have to add in Maximum Ride just because it was literally my entire childhood to teenage years.

49. Where I want to be right now

Eh there's like 3 places gfdi

One of which is the island (Vancouver Island/Victoria) because my great-grandpa is very much not doing well, and my grandpa is having heart problems and as a result has to sell his amazing 3-acre farm at the end of the month which I pretty much grew up on. So yep. 

56. Favourite foods?

Tea. I do not care tea counts as a food okay
