Chara’s old injury was much worse than many expected! Here are the reactions the beginning of Chara’s story on page 67.

While not on board with the plan, a few sympathize with Chara’s injury.

To clarify for everyone, Chara’s leg is not broken, and they do not have hemophilia. However, they do have some serious tissue damage and swelling. It will take a while to heal!

has chara and asriel ever attempted to get past the barrier by holding hands? if you think about it that could work since you need one monster and one human soul to get past the barrier and there is nothing in the game that disproves that

I’m afraid that would not work. The game explicitly states that “only beings with a powerful SOUL can leave.” Alphys later clarifies that it requires both a human and monster soul to pass through the barrier. This is likely because combining a human soul and monster soul together results in a more powerful soul. 

ALPHYS:A human SOUL isn’t strong enough to cross the barrier alone.It takes at least a human soul…And a monster soul.…If you want to go home…You’ll have to take his soul.You’ll have to kill ASGORE.I’m sorry.

Hand holding would not work as the human and monster are two separate beings.

speculation compilation #68

Now for the speculations of what will happen following the cliffhanger on page 60. Here is camp “Chara is gonna kill Ribbon Kid.”

However, some aren’t convinced this will go well.

Others are more concerned about the human soul.

People may have reason to worry.

of what pictures of monofell asriel i've seen he seems to be rather tiny and i would think he would be taller than frisk or chara since his parents are tall as all heck

He’s barely taller than the kiddies because of his horns, but it’s because he’s still growing up. Once he’s actually an adult though, he’ll definitely be over a head taller than both Frisk and Chara!
