Also I wanna clarify something to you all about the lie about Patience. In CoTR lore, Chara was 13 at the time of his fall, and since he was born on September 9, he would have been in seventh or eighth grade. I learned about how to treat injuries when I was in sixth grade, at age 11. I also have a friend born on September 9 (he's older than me) and he's in the same grade as me (I'm still in school), so Chara would know how to help Patience, but he lies that he doesn't know.

This is a good speculation, but Chara wasn’t lying! They had no idea how to treat internal bleeding or other internal injuries due to huge falls.

Since we’ve gone so long without the comic, here are more reactions to page 82.

Chara absolutely used the same tactic as in the game. We felt that it wasn’t necessary to show this.

Chara ate much more than one little flower. They had to be sure they would die, after all.

As implied in the game, Chara likely picked buttercups to die a seemingly “natural” death. After all, none of the monsters are aware that Chara’s fatal illness was self-inflicted.
