In Depth Headcanon Prompts

✓ :Name at least two people who can trust them with their life.

Ash doesn’t fully trust anyone, everyone has given her a reason, as small as leaving the last bit of candy in the bag hoping to save it for a rainy day only to find that it was eaten by someone she was learning to trust, or as big as being abuse of some sort. Growing up with abusive parents made forming trustful relationships hard. She tries to trust, but she can’t bring herself to fully do it. However, when Ash was about 6 years old, she met a boy about her age on a hunt with her parents named Noah. Noah was a child of two other hunters who happened to be hunting the same monster as her family, but his family was kind to her when they found her and she loved them so much, she was almost able to run away with them.

She does somewhat trust Elijah, the angel of innocence, but she believes his pure innocence makes him so naive, it makes it next to impossible to trust him. Ash also somewhat trusts Dean Winchester, but she wouldn’t count on him to save her life. She doesn’t even trust Hades, the Greek god of Death, with whom she has formed a close bond with to save her from anything.  

Aislinn can only totally and completely trust herself with her own life.

Ash is the biggest nerd.Growing up in the back of a car, she didn’t have much to do. so what did the huntress do to pass the time? Read. She read anything she could get her hands on, books, brochures, labels, fine print on bottles warning you of the dangers of misuse, literally anything she could get her hands on. In her short 22 years, she’s read a little over 1000 books.

So, she like it when she can talk to someone about books (preferably she likes to geek out about her favorites like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Epic of Gilgamesh, etc.) over a nice slice of pumpkin pie.

Or, the simplest way, kindness. Ash is utterly amazed by kind people. Her parents were abusive and cruel, she thought it was normal. Ash was not allowed to have any contact with/didn’t experience any kind of human contact (that she remembers at least) until she ran into Noah and his family. Noah and his family were so generous and benevolent that she was just shocked that people could be like that. Therefore, an ounce of kindness with Ash goes a long way.

♡ :Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

There are a lot of smells that bring back memories, most of them unpleasant. However, the smell of rain and an old used book store bring back the memory of her first night of freedom from her parents.

Dear Hades,I came to this conclusion rather quickly: I don’t like you.Sure, it’s easy to say I screwed up and should have known better but no. The blame’s still on you. You are annoying, arrogant and awful. I hope you realize I’m not someone to mess with. I’m not your toy, nor will I ever be your toy. Don’t expect me to do everything you say because I won’t.—-I’m never getting out of here anyway so why should I even bother. A lifetime with you, or my lifetime with you, might be better if we don’t treat each other like pigs. Obviously you are a pig but my imagination is still working and perhaps there is a chance I can imagine you are not a pig. We will probably end up angry, drunk and naked one day because that is how all those things eventually end up.
