lordscardinal replied to your post “ Maybe I should just wear it like this all the time.”
"Or you could simply ignore strangers who don't matter, and who can shove their comments where the sun don't shine."

Stop!
Send me “Stop!” for my muse’s reaction to yours interrupting mine while killing someone.
Janos had been looking forward to Azazel’s return. He had not seen the other young mutant in at least couple of years. He was excited to bring him back to the local open air market and go to all their favorite hangout spots that he had shown Azazel when he first came to his town with his parents.
Azazel was special, just like him. He hid his normal appearance so as to not cause trouble, just like Janos had to control his disastrous ability to create violent winds and even hurricanes. Janos had discovered Azazel’s true nature when the older of the pair defended the young Spaniard from a group of local bullies that constantly picked on Janos because he was small, quiet, and looked rather effeminate.
In defending Janos, Azazel’s true appearance was revealed and he gave the bullies what for, sending them scrambling back home to their mothers. This discovery had made Janos extremely happy and in his excitement, he had dragged the elder of the two out to a field and showed Azazel what he could do.
However, Azazel’s return was not a welcome one. At least, not by the same circle of bullies that he had defended Janos from. When the Spaniard rushed out of his house to greet him, he found that Azazel was bleeding from a massive gash over his left eye and several other smaller, less severe cuts. Janos rushed him into the house and with his mother’s help, got him cleaned up and his wounds tended to.
When asked as to what happened, Azazel explained that on his way to Janos’ home, he had been ambushed. Apparently the bullies had found out about his return and intended to exact their revenge upon him. The more Azazel spoke of it, the further it agitated and enraged Janos. He didn’t show it, no, he would let it build and then he would avenge his friend with all of his rage, all of his power.
Then no one would ever bully him or Azazel ever again.
He went out and did things with Azazel as he had planned, taking him to the open air market and picking out the freshest of foods to make snacks with and later on, dinner on the beach- their favorite hangout spot. They both forgot about the incident for the rest of the day but after dinner, when it came time for bed, Janos waited until Azazel was asleep before the younger mutant snuck out of his house in search for the bullies.
He found them in a large field hanging out and laughing together around a large bonfire. He could hear them mocking Azazel, talking about how weak he had become. About what a monster he was and how he had gotten what he had deserved. It was at these words that Janos’ rage finally boiled over. It consumed him to the point where he was seeing red and could think of nothing else other than revenge.
Janos came out of hiding and made his way over to the group sitting around the fire. The winds in the area suddenly began to pick up to the point where they sucked all of the oxygen from the massive roaring fire, submerging the area into darkness, aside from the light of the moon. That was all he needed. He came to a halt and suddenly, all hell broke loose.
The winds ripped and tore at their bodies, rending their flesh into nothing. Blood was splattered everywhere, but still, Janos did not stop. Their screams of agony were drowned out by the roar of the winds around him. However, there was one voice he heard clearly. One voice that reached him above the violence and agony.
“STOP!”
Azazel was calling to him.
Everything came to sudden, dead halt. Janos slowly dropped his arms and turned to glance behind him. And there was Azazel, standing there, his chest heaving from having run all the way from Janos’ house which was quite a ways away. That’s when it hit Janos as to just what he had done.
His whole body began to break down; he was shaking and trembling violently, sobbing so hard that he could barely breathe. His legs gave out from beneath him, causing him to collapse to the ground where he proceeded to curl up and sob more. He felt someone put their arms around him, holding him tightly and protectively, rubbing his back in a soothing manner. He knew it was Azazel. He was grateful that the other had come to stop him, even though it was too late for those horrible bullies. He had slaughtered them mercilessly and in truth, it would haunt him for a long time.
But for now, he just wanted Azazel to continue holding him while he cried.
