what is oyasumi punpun? i keep seeing posts about it and it looks cool

:O this is late! so sorry!!

also u already kno it ruined me ovr the summer lol. but the plot’s not cool exactly but rather…Tragic. and Real. (the art is v cool tho if u mean tht it’s v unique in showing strong emotion)

anyway, oyasumi punpun is a manga abt a boy presented w a bird shaped head named punpun and also his friends, family, and anyone not quite fitting either mold. it often focuses on punpun’s life from childhood to adulthood and all the tiny (or large ngl) horrors tht come w growing up. it also focuses on a cast of other characters like half the time and their lives as they grow up or go thru life in general (seriously tho, characterization in this manga is a pretty huge thing as all the characters are very easy to differentiate from one another and p much all of them have different goals, flaws, good points, appearances, behaviour patterns ect. shit’s wild when it comes 2 charas since no character is shown as completely good and no chara is shown as completely shit.) it starts out light-ish and hopeful at the beginning but starts heading for fucksville like before halfway thru when things start getting Way more complicated and it’s just….infinite pain….

this is getting too long but tbh i would highly highly rec this to you unless like…ur not good w sexual/physical/emotional abuse, suicide, violence, and a cocktail of other shit. it’s considered extremely depressing for a reason and ppl usually dont feel right after reading it (esp since i read the entirety of it in the span of a week RIP (#+_+) ) so take breaks or smth while reading. feel free to tell me if u like it or not if u choose to read it!! good luck!!
