૮꒰ 𓈒. ݂ .𓈒ྀི ꒱ა ┊Okay I have serious lore questions now... because since it seems Fae in Genshin are implied to be born from "the most pure elemental source" (which may be the light element itself) I wonder where Flins gets his Patronymic Chudomirovich (Чудомирович).
For those who aren't familiar with Russian or Slavic languages, the Patronymic is given by the father or family ancestors by the addition of a suffix like: "Son of/Daughter of..."
Another example of this is Feodorovna (Фёдоровна) which can be literally translated as "Daughter of Feodor" so FLINS Patronymic would be something like "Son of chudomir" because the -ovich is the suffix...
Also for my pals who love languages as much as I do, here is a cute detail I found on his last name:
Chudo (Чудо) means miracle or wonder and Mir (Мир) means peace and world... which makes the translation of his last name + suffix as something like this:
"Son of the wonder-world" (a wink to his Fae nature I assume) or "Son of the miracle of peace" (which makes sense if you read his story and how he woke up from his tomb to help!)
