biocompatible transmat technology is another severely under-explored aspect of the eliksni and related world-building. i always sit down and just soak in the implications of it all.
no other species has biocompatible transmat. a Guardian can transmat out of a place but risen don't generally need to worry about coming out the other end intact (and arguably, they're composed of light and not technically biomatter). Cabal don't have it. Humans don't have it. Hive kind of do, but it involves tearing a hole in reality using throne worlds and it's not nearly as nimble.
and like i get it, you know? if you're a writer, you'd have a headache trying to write around this. eliksni having the ability to deploy and extract troops and supplies at the drop of a hat would make trying to keep continuity hard and it'd be very difficult to explain the instances where this tech isn't used.
but it could be so cool.
(edited for specificity: i mean people-safe fidelity level biocompatible transmat. humans definitely have transmat that can transmat biological matter, but you don't see transmat pads or beacons being used to transmat refugees for example.)
