Things has seemed to be more normal since that night, one that Albie couldn't bear to think about purely for the horror Lorelai went through, but also one of a great milestone between the couple. He had cherished each moment they had spent together since, and manipulating both their schedules, had granted them a full day off to do nothing but be together. "I think I might say the most sacrilegious thing a chef could say and suggest take-out," He half-teased, heading over to the couch with two glasses of wine, handing one out to her, before sitting beside her, kissing her temple. "Unless you want me to be disappeared into the kitchen for a while and out of your way."

His usual run ins with Lorelai had ceased over time. He would shoulder most of the blame considering he'd all but limited himself to a few places within the city while he and the Cranes weren't seeing eye to eye. It was safer that way, even if she had her own ties to the family. For all he knew, Freddie, or perhaps even Nathan had already corrupted her thoughts of him. That seemed to be their game plan, anyway. Spread half truths, watch the world burn around him. "Long time, no see," he hummed, a playful pinky lifted as he sipped from his glass and bite back a smile. He wasn't elegant by any means and he was far too used to wearing a suit for it to make much of a difference. "Looking stunning as ever. I'm assuming that was the goal though." To no surprise, of course. She had a way of turning every head in a room and she knew it. "How've you been?"

Freddie typically ignored promotional messages from businesses in town, but when one such message came directly from Lorelai Tseng, he took a moment to look it over. The name sounded vaguely familiar and Freddie was interested enough to do a quick search which confirmed his inkling--she had been one of Nathan’s Monmouth classmates. With him and Nathan still not speaking, Freddie had a little time to entertain himself. What better way than to accept the invitation to check out the restaurant that Lorelai was co-founder of and stir up some trouble in that neck of the woods. Entering the establishment, Freddie was intrigued by its opulence. He marveled at the décor until Lorelai found him. “Lorelai Tseng..”

They hadn't really seen each other since that weird afternoon with Nathan Crane. Not that was the reason for the avoidance - not that there was any avoidance (of purposeful nature anyway) - but it had been a busy time for both of them. But he had managed to get himself a day off, inviting Lorelai over as he finished up some flat-pack furniture building, sitting cross-legged on his floor, his face of concentration melting into a grin as he noticed her eyes on him. "You're judging my choice of coffee table."

Kerem had wanted to show up dressed as married and buried. But Blair had been a party pooper and wouldn't let them show up in that particular costume and cause any drama. Though how could she not? The Family was celebrating its victory, they had managed to turn one of the neutral gangs to become official allies. Only the Outlaws and Nightshade remained on the table now and he'd be damned if he let this go any further. Standing at the craps table, Kerem's focus was only half on the game. Swirling the whiskey in his glass he slid some more chips on the table, but kept his gaze on the Family members. "Didn't feel like dressing up for the happy occasion?" He asked the woman who just made her own bet beside him.

Ayla didn't care if she stood out like a sore thumb in the crowd of people as she stood before each piece staring with wide eyes, while the others around her all regarded each piece fleetingly. This was like a dream to her and no one was going to ruin it. One of the only things that had pulled her away from the art in all the different rooms was the food and drinks flowing freely for the guests. She stood at one of the provided high tables throughout the gallery and was finishing off the last of some little pastry tart with some meat and other unidentifiable fillings when she saw someone join her at the table. "I'm not sure what I'm eating, but I think I need to try and convince one of the waiters to send me home with leftovers. Do you think they'd do it?"

July 14th / Open Mic Night Starter for @lorelai-tseng

Toni took a break from MCing duties to mingle with some café patrons while the next performer set up on stage. She smiled politely as a gorgeous older woman made her way into the cozy coffee shop. "Welcome to Deja Brew's Open Mic Night.. I'm Toni. If you're interested in getting on stage, let me know. In the meantime.. can I interest you in a special drink or bakery item to celebrate the event?"
