Silas hated doing things by himself. Why should he ever be lacking in company in such a place as this? What he craved more than anything was someone by his side, preferably someone with a story to tell. Of all the people on this island that qualified as interesting, Loren was near the top of his list. That's why he'd requested the staff member's presence tonight. He didn't really like the idea of using his client privilege to force anyone to spend time with him, so he made sure to frame it as a request rather than some kind of order. That made it all the sweeter when Loren accepted.
Standing by the docks, Silas took another drag from his cigarette. The sun was hanging low in the sky, not yet completely set on the day, when his company for the evening arrived. The Frenchman smiled and put out the cigarette, discarding the butt. "So nice to see you again, mon chéri." He greeted Loren with a kiss to each cheek. "I was hoping you would join me for dinner." An odd sentiment given where they were standing. Silas accounted for that, extending his explanation. "I've reserved a boat tour of the island by moonlight complete with a full meal and drinks, if you're interested."
