Lore, who had been walking through trying to find something it seemed, turned his head to Mega and looked down at the extra metals. He cocks an eyebrow and looks back up at Mega. "Ah, thank you my friend for the offer. I don't need much of something made for me so much as a repair if you wouldn't mind. Of course, no pressure on it if you cannot."
Lore pulls up his sleeve and reveals a small iron wand, the girth a little thicker than the small sticks of most wands, until he revealed that it wasn't what it seemed. He spins it once, twice three times before it clicks and extends on both ends, being about as long as the old man's body. "This is my staff. Not much magic to it, just a conduit and an up close weapon if need be. Could you do something about it?"
(responding to the prompt where Megahes offers to make free/discounted items.)
Megahes watches this older gentleman spin around his wand and for a moment, he half expected to watch it fly off and to hit someone or for some clatter to occur with a pissed off alley-cat screeching along with it. But, alas, none of those things came. Nope, instead the Staff was left to sight and Megahes had to give the man some credit. "Very clever." He remarks, extending his hands so the item can be traded off. "Don't get me wrong though, to the naked eye it's looking operational enough. I mean, it did extend... Is something wrong with the conduit within perhaps?" His eyes squint, trying to find look it over to see what exactly could have been the issue. "Also, what metal are you using for this?" If allowed, he'd take off his glove and give the staff a couple of taps with a clawed digit, using those big ears of his to try to listen to the tune it gives off in some effort to garner further information.
