“Woah,” J-10 said as he looked down at himself with wide, gleeful optics. “I’m red?!”
“You’re so shiny!” B-127 gushed as he darted over to pat over J-10’s plating before freezing. “Your audials got bigger.” He craned his neck around to look at Arsenal’s back and gasped, servos over cheeks and everything. “And you have wingies!”
“I do!?” J-10 gasped and twisted around to see that yes, he had wingies.

J-10 then reached up to pat at his helm curiously and felt his audials twitch as his digits grazed over them and he looked over at B-127 and saw that his audials now looked like folded dog ears.
Oh my god-
“Awwww,” J-10 cooed as he reached over to pat his friend on the helm. “Yours got cuter.”
“Really!?” B-127 asked, ecstatic. “I think yours are the cutest!”
J-10 was then subjected to pats as well, and for the next few kliks they tried to see who could pat the other more until Elita cleared her vocalizer and said, “Mechs, we have more important matters to worry about right now.”
“Awww,” both J-10 and B-127 pouted. “Okay.”
Beside them, D-16 facepalmed. “I’m over this already.”
