Pairing: Montreal Canadians x Fem!reader

Warnings: platonic, teammate!reader, fight, I made Rempe the villain whoops, mentions of comments of how she got in league, mentions of alcohol.

Ever since you had joined the Canadians as the only woman on the team, the boys loved you and were fiercely overprotective of you. Whenever someone checked you too hard on the ice, Arber was there along with Juraj ready to beat someone up. The whole team called you baby, considering the fact you were the youngest that didn't surprise you. Once joining the NHL only being the second woman in the league there where rumors. Most of the rumors were stupid but for some reason this rumor had stuck around and it wouldn't leave you since you joined the league.

You sigh looking at your phone, being subjected to another rumor about how you ended up in the league.

"What's up baby?" Nick asks.

"Well this rumor mill thing is stupid" you laugh, "the newest rumor about how I ended up in the league is honestly funny as hell."

"You don't need to be looking at that shit" Cole says.

You snort, "Well this rumor involves you" you look up at Cole and smirk.

"Oh boy do tell?" Kaiden asks.

"Y/N could never have joined the league with out sleeping with someone in the league, all these guesses of the Hughes brothers, Will Smith, Fraser Minten, are just plain false. To get into the league she couldn't have slept with any of the previously mentioned guys, she would have had to have slept with someone within the Canadians organization, I'm thinking Cole Caufield" you laugh before continuing to read, "if I was to guess he has the best dick and knows how to use it properly so he would be a prime candidate for her to sleep with to get in the league."

"That's enough" Arber yells, "I didn't need to know that."

You burst out laughing, "there's more."

"That's enough" Juraj says, snickering.

"I honestly don't know what to say" Cole says.

"I think she meant that as a compliment?" You guess

"Thanks? I guess?" Cole says.

"You know those people are just saying shit" Nick says.

"Oh I am aware, it's just the crazy guesses are hilarious to read" you say.

Nick shakes his head while laughing, "At Cole's expense that was funny."

"Not as funny as last week, someone said that I had a threesome with Rempe and Perreault" you snort.

"No, no" Cole says, "that's messed up."

You nod, as Marty comes into the room, "what are you all standing around for? We've got a game." You all resume getting ready for the game.

Ironically enough the game was against the Rangers, the boys had all warned you about Rempe. So on your first shift when you ended up on the ice with Rempe you weren't surprised when he checked you a little extra, but on the next shift you got him back by knocking him on his ass.

Towards the end of the game you and Rempe are taking a face-off, right before the puck drops Rempe looks at you and says, "you must enjoy sucking dick since you got in the league that way."

You look at him in shock, once the puck drops all hell breaks lose. You waste no time in dropping your gloves and punching him.

Matt not expecting you to fight is unprepared and you get him to the ice pretty quickly. "Shut your trap or next time I'll let Arber get your ass" you tell him as your lead to the penalty box.

Once the game ends and the Candians win, you all head back to the locker room.

"What was that?" Cole asks having been in shock for the last few minutes after your fight.

"I handled business" you shrug.

"With Rempe?" Arber asks

"He shit talked, I finished it" you shrug, "wasn't difficult."

"What'd he say?" Nick asks

"He made a comment about how I must enjoy sucking dick since I got in the league that way" you say, "I told him to shut up or I'd get Arber after him."

The boys all open their mouths in shock, "I'll kill him" Arber says.

"I don't think that's necessary" you say, "i did handle him pretty nicely."

"That was impressive " Juraj says.

"Good job Y/N" Arber says.

"Now let's celebrate this victory" you say.

"Hell yeah" Cole says before you all change and head to a local bar for your victory drinks.
