Lori Carson & Graeme Revell - Fall In The Light [Strange Days Original Soundtrack]
The Golden Palominos may have been an intriguing band during the 80’s, but they did some of their best work during the 90’s. There are many possible reasons for that, yet I think they felt invigorated by the alternative rock boom of the 90’s they sadly didn’t benefit from. Seriously, their album from the period should be mentioned in the same breath as the classics of the era. I mean, Pure, for instance, augmented the sound valleys of This Is How It Feels, making the incredible pop songwriting of the latter even better. Yes, the entire LP contains many sonic gems and I am surprised they don’t get played often. Then again, this happened to Palominos a lot, i.e. they did a fabulous disc, though not many noticed that.
