I know it's like a gag and not meant to be serious, but I genuinely find it adorable that Leonie notices and cares abt Lorenz's heavily implied eating disorder. Their three houses dining dialogue is also cute 😔

okay on a real note though, interacting with lorenz does teach leonie that people do change and that her words and actions matter to people, that when she reaches her hand out, others will reach back, that her example is inspiring and that her frustrations matter too- her entire life she’s been inspired by someone who did that for her and been insecure about living up to that & to have that acknowledged and cherished is a truly special thing for her

Okay I really have to say this though how did Lorenz know that Leonie's village was Saun village like what did he go and fucking look up like this bitch Mr. Know It All I Love Alliance Nobles didn't even know House Edmund's troop situation but he knows the name of a commoner friend's village and the hunting privileges they had and why mercenaries were deployed there okay 👀 you didn't even know that your own father was very suspiciously involved in the conspicuous deaths of house Riegan nobles and prominent regional merchants but you know the name of this random village 🤔

leonie teaches lorenz that he was a huge asshole, to rethink his paternalistc, condescending viewpoint on commoners, and that she’s an amazing person who he was truly lucky to get to meet. 

lorenz doesn’t teach leonie any shit at all which is fine because she was great to begin with- she just thinks he’s fun in a freak kind of way & also she likes that he changed and grew i guess (and using his money)
