Louis Tomlinson makes it clear: there will be new music in 2025
The singer has enjoyed a long break and announces that in the coming months he will write the songs for his next project

It's been over two years since Louis Tomlinson stepped into a recording studio to give us a new album under his name. Faith In The Future was his second and final solo studio album, which dates back to November 2022, but it seems that this won't be the case for much longer.
After a period of rest following months of touring hundreds of corners of the world to the sound of this recording project that we mentioned, the artist has returned to social media to confirm what everyone was expecting: his return to the recording studios. Thus, Louis Tomlinson has published a message on X (formerly Twitter) that has greatly encouraged those who enjoy his music.
"I've enjoyed the break and I'm looking forward to coming back," the singer wrote on the platform, where he also took the opportunity to reveal that over the next few months he will take paper and pen and begin writing the stories that will make up his next work. He also said that "this will be a great year," something that gives us hope of being able to hear that new music this very same 2025.
Why is Louis Tomlinson back on social media?
The singer has been away from the media spotlight for several months, focused on enjoying this well-deserved vacation and living experiences that inspire him when working on his next songs, so he doesn't spend much time on social media, but why is he back now?
In addition to wanting to announce that he is composing again, the artist has recalled that in just over a month he will return to the stage again, more specifically to Lollapalooza in India, which will bring together some 115,000 people on the dance floor, this being the largest audience in his career as a soloist, quite an achievement and, perhaps, a turning point in his career in music for this year that he has already announced as exciting.
