@lisdluk @alessandroxbianchi

Tortilla
Unlike the line of Monster burritos here, the regular Cali only has one tortilla. But it smelled flourful, fresh, and was sturdy enough to hold quite a bit alone.
Meat
Tasted like real fucking steak, unadulterated by overseasoning or drowned out by greasy heat and other ingredients.
Ingredients
Fries, cheese, and pico de gallo. Each was strong in its own taste. The fries were thick and soft but not starchy, the pico had very fresh, juicy tomatoes and only a little cilantro.
Salsa
Stoplight of red, orange, and green. None was too hot even though the orange was rather smokey.
Other
Surprising or not, still the best burrito on the Point, despite the various non-chain shops. Still full of Sailors around lunch, but the other cheap eats in the Liberty Station area may diffuse some of the crowding.
Pairs with:
Fountain Orange Crush.
Overall Score
9. The perfect starter burrito for those without the literal intestinal fortitude to jump directly to the Monster California served at Los Primos.
Los Primos, 951 N Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91103
The tacos are more expensive than usual ($1.45 each) but they’re worth it because they come with really good fresh, crispy, thin tortilla chips. The chips are definitely addictive.
Order up front. The menu is extensive and includes seafood, soups, tacos (including fish tacos), burritos, molcajetes, tortas, breakfast items, and even hamburgers. They have Mexican beverages too. What’s even more impressive is that they have so many cuts of meat, including buche, sesos, and even birria.
The décor is interesting. It’s a large restaurant with a jukebox, yellow tablecloths, fake flowers at every table, and a jukebox. They’ve tried to make it homey. I didn’t see a salsa bar.
* Lengua and cabeza tacos: each taco featured two soft warm corn tortillas, a generous pile of meat, finely chopped onions, cilantro and your choice of salsa. The tacos included sliced radishes and lime wedges. Both the cubes of lengua and cabeza were very tender but too salty. Both salsas were good but a bit salty. The green salsa had the vibrant flavor of cilantro. The spicy red salsa had a vinegary sharpness.
The tacos are quite good but on the verge of being too salty. Loved the chips.

Today was super chill.
We went swimming today & that was quite the adventure 😂 I swear these fuckers go so hard, they snuck in a bottle of tequila into the park without getting caught. Pistiamos un poco pues haha. My skin feels hot, I probably got burned. Oh whaaaaale. Honestly, I don't know how I could ever want to go back.
