Nico’s hands rested limply on his knees as he stared out at the landscape around him, granted there wasn’t much around him, not anymore anyway. A neat ring of blacked earth circled him for a good three meters, ground looking charred. And even beyond that ring, the vegetation on the ground looked wilted, the life completely sucked out of them.

There.... there had been people around him at one point, people attacking him. What had happened to them? He couldn’t... His eyes drifted up to the older shadow summoner’s face.

Nico knew what happened as hot tears coursed down his cheeks. “I’m sorry.”

Does anyone else have very vivid dreams about your teeth cracking and breaking off in pieces? And you just continuously pick the pieces out of your mouth but your mouth keeps filling with all these pieces of your broken teeth and you can’t figure out where they keep coming from. You can feel the pieces filling up your entire mouth and you try to spit them out and they’re just still there!!
