Anxious low on words. Hate shower at night. Make paranoid. Needed it to feel clean. Wasn't clean. Pain bad. Helped with pain.
Another thing I need to talk to my psychiatrist about is losing words. I'll be talking to my husband or son and totally forget a word. It's becoming very annoying and somewhat worrisome.
Today I forgot the word "flipper" so I said "that pinball thing."
I couldn't remember "card mat" the other day when my husband and son were playing MtG.
This happens way too often. Every day I lose at least 1 word.
Hopefully this isn't something serious. Maybe it has something to do with autism?
Difference between photography ('documentary') and self-photography: In one you capture a moment, in another you 'make' the moment.
I hate losing words.
No clue why, sometimes I lose the ability to verbalize. Not physiologically, but mental block. Usually can still think in words, just not talk. Bad day today, lost words for many hours, sometimes thinking in words is distressing. Can still usually vocalize, is more like conveying semantic content is distressing. Episodes like this only started a few years ago out of nowhere. Seems maybe vaguely anxiety/autism-adjacent/??? Anyone else?
The worst part of losing words all the time is the feeling that maybe the word I’m clamoring for doesn’t actually exist.
That Autism Feel when:
Annoyed Allistic Person: “You can talk you know!”
Right now? No in fact I cannot.
