I'm going to attempt to do this weight loss challenge. At the moment though, I am more focused on just adding extra exercise in, than changing my diet, though I do need to cut back on all energy drinks, chocolate and chips.
The reason I'm not focusing too much on food at the moment is because I don't like a lot of healthy foods. I don't eat any fruit, I can't stand it. And whilst I do eat some vegetables, I'm not really a salad eater either. I think the best thing I can do food wise is to stop eating meat again. I went through a year where I didn't eat meat, and I lost a lot of weight.
Part of this is because once I stopped eating meat, I stopped eating McDonalds or Pizza or KFC as well. Because I didn't feel so lethargic and weighed down by meat processing in my body, I stopped drinking energy drinks and eating chocolate because I didn't need the energy boost anymore. I lost about 20kgs throughout the period of not eating meat - though I think the bit of Glandular Fever helped as well.
I started eating meat again when I got a boyfriend and started socialising again. It was just more convenient, and easier to do so. I don't know if I'll stop eating all meat completely, or just everything but bacon and chicken. Even though bacon isn't healthy, it's so yummy haha.
Weekly challenge: Pick one unhealthy food or habit you have (eg. Artificial sweetener, chocolate, eating after 8pm, skipping breakfast) and aim to go 7 days without eating/doing it.
Weekly Challenge: Stop drinking energy drinks and mindlessly snacking when not actually hungry.
Day one: How tall are you, what do you currently weigh, and what do you hope to weigh after the 60 days? (Be realistic).
Weight: 85.3kg = 178.8lbs
Weight after 60 days: I hope to be at 75kg = 165lbs.
Obviously I will have to start adjusting my eating plan as well, but removing the energy drinks and mindless snacking + more exercise and losing 10kg in 2 months seems realistic.
