Hello hello! Ready the Dice of Destiny because here we go. 8) 8) 🪓, 🐾, and 🫁? :D

The Dice of Destiny are here and really having a good time with picking interesting characters it seems! I will once again being doing a different character for each question!

🪓 - does your character have an axe to grind? a need for bloody vengeance against someone who wronged them? why?

Possibly the funniest option the dice could have given me for this question tbh, I got The Devil from Lost Divinity. The fun thing about him is that his motives are always private, he never explains why he does anything to anyone, although his son does seem to know the reasons, although Greed never tells either. He has the image of being self serving though, and he meets those accusations with a polite smile. He's not typically one for bloody vengeance though, but no one wants to wrong him anyways, likely because. Well, who wants to make The Devil angry?

🐾 - what would your character do if they were turned into a werewolf or some other monster? would they fight it, embrace it? lose themself?

I'll be honest, I thought about rerolling this one, but it's too funny. Only Human features a small group of werewolves. I got the youngest brother of the group, Damien. Although, I think if he found himself turned into some other sort of monster, he'd be happy. He's the youngest of four and still trying to figure out who he is other than his siblings' baby brother, the youngest pup. If he were something else, then he would know what makes him truly unique as a person, something he's struggled with all his life. He would embrace the chance to be different in a heartbeat.

🫁 - would your character cannibalize someone? would it be for survival or because they like it? is it for religious reasons? something else?

This one depends on how we want to define cannibalism, if I'm being perfectly honest. The character I got is another I haven't talked about, Fiore's contracted demon, Marcellus. In that universe, demons often eat people's souls. It's just part of what they do, but the literal definition is human flesh. At which point, he might just to try it, although I don't think he'd find much pleasure in it and only do it once. If we instead take it to mean eating one of his own kind, though, another demon? He'd be unlikely to even think of it, being a weaker demon that's still trying to prove he has the strength to make something of himself. If the opportunity was presented to him though? I doubt he would take it. He has nothing to gain from consuming another demon and things like that just aren't his style. He prefers to keep himself neat and orderly and there's just not a good way to stay neat and orderly while digging into demon flesh.

So, I created an oc and her buddy. This is Kaia and her little friend Bo. She is from a world where there are three known planes of existence. She is from the plane of light known as Solaris. There on Solaris she is the troublesome daughter of the Goddess of the plane. As the daughter of the goddess she weilds the gift of solar flare, a type of magic that allows her to use the power of her home plane against her enemies. Together with Bo she takes on an adventure to hunt down the 7 wonder stones which are hidden amongst the 3 planes. Once she finds all of the wonder stones she can protect the three planes from colliding and destroying life as they know it. She just has to get all of the stones to the eternal temple, a place between the three planes that acts as a sort of connecting center, the heart of the three planes, if you will. However, little does she know, there is someone else looking for the stones as well.

Hello hello! Happy blorbsday! :D For any OC you'd like (or as many as you'd like): What's the cringiest secret they will never tell anyone else? As in, not their deepest, darkest secret, but their deepest secret that would paint them in an *entirely* new light if they let it out? As in, *who is the furry*?

So! With my new Dice of Destiny sheet, I'm catching up on some asks! First things first, Happy Belated AF Blorbsday on Saturday! The dice gave me Wrath. Between you, me, and all of Writeblr, as much as he tries to appear like a big tough guy, Wrath likes his private time so much because he will sit down and binge romcoms. The big bad sin of rage, fury, and breaking people's faces will sneak off to Earth in a human form, lock himself in his house, and watch romcoms for 24 hours straight. Their biggest fear is Envy ever finding out, because he knows she will tell Literally Everyone.

Hokay, first thing's first, I'mma gonna need you to build your own Dice of Destiny. 8) Like, grab a spreadsheet, list your characters, and then roll a die to see which ones get these. You're free to do the same one for each of these questions or separate ones—up to you! That saaaaaid . . . 8) 8) 8) 🕰, 🪞, and 🔦? :D

So, I kind of already had a list of my characters. The total was 83 at that time. HOWEVER, I have come up with more WIPs since then so uh. Ask and ye shall receive from the newly updated list that uh. Is 129 characters. No, I don't need help to stop making characters what are you talking about? Anyways, moving onto the questions now instead of lingering on that number! I'll be doing different characters for each question!

🕰 - what would your character do if they were stuck in a time loop?

For this one, I got a character I haven't talked about on this blog yet! Fiore's first reaction would probably be trying to figure out why she's stuck in a time loop. She has extensive experience with magic, being raised in a cult and all. If she can't figure out why, then she would likely take advantage of the repeated days to learn as much as she can about the unwelcome demonic presence in her home town. She does her best to keep in mind that she has no idea when or if the time loop will end, and that she doesn't know what'll happen if she's killed and so avoids that like the plague, and remembers that there's always a chance tomorrow is a new day, but she's prone to being a little cocky at times, so she may end up getting into some scrapes she'd rather not. However, I think in the end it would end up being a really productive time for her!

🪞 - what would your character do if faced with an evil doppelganger? would they run away, fight? is the doppelganger a reflection of their inner fears?

And here we see the dice having a sense of humor. Because they gave me Lust, from Lost Divinity for this question. I won't say Lust has one brain cell, because that's not fair to him, buuuuuut. His first reaction would be to ask his doppelganger for sex. If the answer is no, they'll respect that. But then likely fight the doppelganger for having the nerve to take his face. Considering there are very few beings that can stand up to the sins in a face to face, direct confrontation, that doppelganger would likely realize they'd made a mistake very quickly.

🔦 - would your character go investigate that spooky noise? the local ghost story? cryptid? that rash of murders in town?

And this one is for Isa, my bastard demon reaper. Being a demon, he often assumes he's the scariest thing around, so a spooky noise wouldn't phase him. He'd check it if he thought it might actually be something either interesting or likely to be annoying if ignored, but otherwise he'd probably just roll his eyes and ignore it. He'd find the local ghost story or cryptid a waste of his time, and, honestly? He likely wouldn't need to investigate the rash of murders in town, because more likely than not, he's the one committing them. And if he's not, he figures it's someone else's problem.

Hello hello and happy STS (and late blorbo blursday)! If you don't mind, please classify your OCs according to the following: bimbo, mean bisexual, even meaner lesbian, she/they, he/they, token straight that's on thin ice, astrology bitch who has everyone's birth chart memorized, short king. Bonus points if you can explain why for each. :D (You are free to leave out any that do not apply to your OCs' friend group.)

Not to be dramatic, but I have been thinking about this ask non-stop since I got it and I'm honestly a little embarrassed at how long it took me to realize what group I should do this with! While the cast of Lost Divinity is not necessarily all friends, they all absolutely fit into these roles. So! Time to talk about where the Sins and Virtues fit into this! Gonna save everyone's dashes with a readmore

Kindness is the bimbo, full stop. She's Kind, because, of course she is, but uh, there's not a whole lot else going on up there. She's lucky they work in pairs because sometimes she's prone to getting a little distracted if she sees someone who could use her Kindness. And that's where Hope comes in to remind her to work

(Do I get extra bonus points for mentioning that Diligence is a Himbo? Because he is. He's buff, hard working, tries his best to be nice to people, but uh. That's about it. Prudence kind of just has to aim him at problems and give him cookies when he does a good job.)

The mean bisexual is Lust, and I feel like I don't even really need to explain why. He's bitchy, he's mean, he'll kick anybody's ass, and he's not picky about partners, sometimes to his own detriment to be completely honest.

The even meaner lesbian brings us to Envy. She doesn't seem all that strong at first glance, but she's the queen of controlling situations. She knows everyone's secrets, everyone's weaknesses, and she WILL blackmail someone to Hell and back. Lust stole her eyeliner one time and he still regrets it to this day.

Prudence is our she/they, but it's kind of cheating to assign this to any one character because none of the Sins or Virtues fully ascribe to human gender norms. Pride's gender, for example, is yes. However, I feel like Prudence is the one most likely to pick she/they if asked.

On a similar front, with similar reasoning, Gluttony is the he/they. He's the most likely to actively choose it.

Unfortunately, I just can't seem to write straight people, but Temperance is on thin ice anyways. That fucker knows what they did.

Envy and Pride both are the astrology bitches that have everyone's chart memorized and they gossip about that together. They constantly make fun of Wrath for behaving just how his chart says he should, knowing it'll piss him off. They think it's funny, and sometimes will say it even when it's not true.

And after double checking to make sure I've got the Short King definition right, I do and it's Greed. Motherfucker is tiny, but he's suave, smart, and he damn well knows it.
