This artwork hurt my iPad’s storage very much

Three Len’s! ^_^ Sunadokei Len, Lost lover Len, and Dolls Len ^_^ It’s almost June, so I felt Lacey like a wedding…

The art itself didn’t turn out the greatest, and the storage was very difficult to manage while drawing but… I like it a lot! I love doing backgrounds this way, and I love looking for references too while drawing art like this. Like my other checkerboard background art, I mainly referenced Twinkle’s backgrounds while working on this one! ^_^

Day one of the August Writing Challenge!

An everlasting gift I hadn’t seen it coming, the package upon my door. The one left by the unknown, but even in the quiet morning the wind whispers your sweet name. A reminder of what was and what is. I’m left with nothing to say, except the joy that wraps itself around the stems of my aching heart. I’ll hold it in my hand and wonder what lies inside the carefully curated gift. When it’s open, may I not shatter, the remnant of you I have left. Let it be enough to keep me from forgetting what it’s like to know your gentle love. And I’ll hope you know, when you’re out among the stars that you already hold my gift, in your heart.

A little author’s note: I want to thank @problematicprocrastinator for setting this challenge up to begin with. I’m playing around with the prompts a little by doing poetry instead, since as of right now I don’t really have it in me to do more writing (tho that might change further into the month especially when I’m back home in the UK) but I really wanted to join in. your hand reaches for my throat and a jumbled mess spills from my lips. random words masquerading as poetry. specifically tailoring myself to your desires. if only you understood my riddles and rhymes. you devour them from my tongue anyway, as if you’ve never tasted lust. honey covered lies escape your lips. this fruitful vessel is no match for your hunger. but these waters are overflowing and you bend me like no other. so i allow you to overindulge. until i am nothing.

A love that never lasted

Have you known something

so definite that not even god

could say you’re wrong?

I have

I have known the august sun

warm against my skin.

The smell of the autumn rain

that sets in right before

the first drops of fall.

The crunch of the yellow leaves

that scatter the sidewalks unchallenged.

The honeyed breeze laced with the

last bloom of the season

before the frost sets in.

The comfort of warm tea

and cashmere sweaters.

I know it’s not much, but I’ve know these things as a person.

A person made of amber

Encasing my heart

while it still beats.

The sky weeps at their artistry.

The sun is envious of them, for Icarus would

have fallen for them instead of the sun had he

watched them shine.

The oceans crash in quiet rage

for the green of the sea was stolen

for their eyes.

The birds sang for them

and the leaves swoon in their presence.

Their arms feel of freedom

and their lips taste of home.

Their eyes tell me stories

and their company is safe.

No god can persuade me

that what I have known is wrong.
