Leia visited De-Sainte Coquille Park, hoping to see some cute dogs. She used to be afraid of dogs (and most land animals) but has since come to love the furry creatures. Their joy for life was infectious. It was hard to believe she used to fear such sweet animals.
As she sat down. taking a break from her walk, a dog walked up to her. It was a large, black dog with brown swatches in various areas, including the cutest little eyebrows. He had a friendly smile with his tongue hanging out. Leia couldn’t help but swoon over the handsome animal. The dog had no collar nor human accompanying him. She looked around, hoping to spot an owner missing their pup. There didn’t appear to be anyone looking for their best friend. Still, Leia was convinced that this dog must have an owner.
“Don’t worry. We’ll find your owner,” she said to the dog, giving him a pat on the head. The large canine sat down and turned his head to the side as if he were confused by her words. This made Leia chuckle before uttering a quiet, “stay” at the dog.
Going from person to person, she pointed at the dog, asking if it was theirs. After asking a kind, old lady who looked frightened upon seeing the dog, she approached a blond man with a care-free look on his face. This man didn’t look like he had just lost anything, let alone a dog, but Leia figured she might as well ask.
“Excuse me. Is that your dog over there?” she asked, pointing at the dog still stationed where she left him.
