Summary: A miscommunication between Buck and Eddie leads to an even larger misunderstanding and it causes Buck to return to the loft instead of him spending the night with Eddie. After he leaves, Eddie feels lost without him and he decides the conversation they need to have can’t wait. Will he make it in time to fix it or will he be too late?

Here's a snippet from one of Buck's and Eddie's conversations.

He looks at Eddie, stands up and says, “Hey uh… I think I should go to the loft tonight”.
Eddie frowns and furrows his brow, then asks, “Why?”
He clears his throat. “Well… I know it’s still early December but uh… I think I should start packing now.” He lies.
With a voice laced with confusion, he says, “I thought you were going to stay the entire weekend”.
“I want to but um… I think I should get started packing everything so there won’t be so much to do over the next couple of weeks. You know Christmas is coming up and all so… it’ll be best for me to get everything situated before the end of the month.” He says as he leans in and places a soft kiss onto Eddie’s cheek.
After he stands, he grabs his phone, then he quickly meets his eyes followed by him walking past him headed towards the front door.
“Hey… wait. What’s wrong?” He asks as he stands and follows him.
Once they’re facing each other, Buck says, “Nothing. I’m fine.” He lies again for the fifth time.
What is Buck lying about?
Will Eddie every find out what it is?
