There was a dreadful throbbing at his temples the moment his eyes fluttered open. The brunet let out a painful groan as he brought his hand up to add some pressure to his forehead in a fruitless attempt to alleviate some pain.
“Ugh… that’s the last time I drink,” Hiccup lied. A typical statement every adult says in the beginning moments of their hangover. It wasn’t until he felt a cold metal touch his skin did he brought it to his sight of vision to inspect. Boy did his half-lidded eyes pop wide open. There it was, a silver band on his left-hand wedding finger.

His question was answered his heard soft breathing coming from his side. He turned his head to see the owner when he didn’t know his eyes could get any bigger. There was the blonde girl he’s been crushing on since high school fast asleep and curled up like a kitten beside him. To no surprise, she was just as beautiful as if she were awake.
“Wow…” He whispered to himself. Before he could tell himself no, his hand moved on its own towards her face. His fingers gently brushed away her hair that fell over her eyes. As he pushed the lock behind her ear, the blonde began to move.
Hiccup sat there frozen as green eyes met green.
