In Case You've Lost Faith In Humanity...

I work as a cashier at a local pool and like most cashiers, I'm used to dealing with rude people who blame me for all of their inconveniences. But today a little girl who couldn't have been more than 4 years old came up to me and offered me a drink from the concession stand. Having already bought a water bottle, I politely refused the girl's offer, but I was pleasantly surprised. Her dad then proceeded to come over to my desk and explain that he was trying to teach his daughter kindness. He said that you never know what kind of days people are having, or what they're going through, so it's important to take that into consideration and offer them something just in case. It was such a beautiful way to think. If only everyone could have that kind of mindset...

Story Time

I’m an RA, and one of my residents is from Germany. 

He was in a bar a couple weeks ago talking to a rather ditsy girl who asked him “Why are there so many different languages in Europe?” 

He wanted to mess with her, so, he said “Well, because the Germans lost the war.” 

She then, having no idea what she was even talking about (Presumably) said, very sincerely; “Oh I’m so sorry!”
