hi! i'm skylar! this is just going to be a place where i dump all of my thoughts. it's probably going to end up being a place where i just nerd out about all of the things that i'm literally OBSESSED with lol. therefore be forewarned that most of my posts are probably going to be pretty long, even this one. what can i say, when i nerd out, i NERD OUT lol. i'm just going to put a list of things that i will probably be talking about on here so if you like any of the things that i list below, you can interact with me if you want. i would also like to preface this by saying that i'm very new to tumblr and honestly a lot of the things on my list so please bear with me and feel free to educate me as well. i'm also not planning on making any of this look "aesthetic" although i would love to. it's too much work lol. ok with that out of the way here are the things (there's a HIGH likelihood that i'm going to forget some things but this is just a general list):

anime: i'm not super new to the community, i've been watching anime for about a year at this point. but i have a SUPER short attention span and not a lot of motivation when i watch any show, anime or other. so i've only watched two animes, attack on titan (i'm actually almost done with it!) and my hero academia (i think i just started season four). but it's been about a month since i've watched any anime. there are a lot of animes that i want to watch, and since i usually don't care about spoilers, i actually like them, i know a lot about them already from twitter and stuff.

genshin: i'm very new to the community, like i just started getting into it a few days ago. i'm not much of a gamer, and i don't have a pc, so i tried playing it on my phone, but one, i don't have that much storage, and two, I SUCKED. so i don't think i'm going to play it anymore. plus, i'm much more interested in the lore than the gameplay. i've watched like half of a four hour lore recap video on youtube, it was like seven months old or something so it doesn't have a lot of stuff, and i'm just going to be completely honest, i was zoned out like half the time i was watching the video. i've seen some stuff on twitter and stuff though.

lost in the clouds: one thing about me is that i LOVE bl. and don't worry, i don't like any of the weird tropes, like student x teacher or incest or other tropes like that. i like the more wholesome bls like given. i'm also not a super big fan of reading. if i come across a manga or manhwa or something that i like, i usually just watch the adaptation. but lost in the clouds doesn't have an adaptation, and i really liked it, i mean, the main character has the same name as me! and it's spelled the same too, usually skylar is spelled with an e! anyways, i decided that i wanted to read the manhwa because i liked it so much. i'm only on chapter five though and i haven't read it in like a month, because like i said, i'm not much of a reader. the only things that i read are fanfics lol. and even so i prefer oneshots over longer ones because they are less commitment.

redacted asmr: this is the only thing on this list that i would go so far as to say that i have a decent amount of knowledge on it lol. i started listening to redacted in february and absolutely fell in love with every aspect of him and his audios. his voice, his characters, the relationships that the characters have with their listeners and each other, how everything is connected, his writing, how smart he is with everything, i could go on forever. i stopped listening to his audios a few audios in to hot boi summer because those kinds of audios aren't really my cup of tea. so i haven't listened to his most recent audio, but that's the plan for tonight!

vtubers: i started watching vtubers a few months ago, i can't exactly remember when. i mainly watch nijisanji. i started with nijisanji en and shxtou because well, i speak english and i don't know if i could be entertained by one of the non english speaking livers, just because i wouldn't know what they're saying (obviously). i started branching out to the other nijisanji livers that as far as i can tell frequently stream in english, like bonnie. and i may started to branch out to the non english speaking nijisanji livers, but if i do i'll probably only watch clips with english subs so you know, i can actually understand what they're saying lol. i've also started watching other smaller livers like komai rui.

so those are the things that i'll probably be posting about on here. if you like any of them, please feel free to interact with me if you want. as you can probably tell, i love talking about the things that i like.
