The Nature of Nightfall | RP with Losttodarkness

18 was in a different part of the city than he normally dwelled in, hoping that he wouldn't stumble upon anyone he knew tonight. He'd been so caught up in new faces lately, and as much of a welcome change it was, it was exhausting and he needed time to think over things. The question of his morality had never been so prevalent. It seemed that he was helping people without any effort at all these days, which was, of course, a good thing, but... He knew he wasn't even a person, let alone a good one. Any expectation of his dedicating his life to the greater good was positively out of the question and a generally unwise concept. The success rate of murder would be infinitely higher than that of his endeavors of preservation; it was a painfully unarguable truth.

There wasn't a single hint of his frustrations on the robot's face, but before he had time to stop himself he'd loudly shot a bullet into the building beside him.

I had no idea much about the TMNT fandom in general and I kinda rolled my eyes at a genderbent turtles group but I'm really glad that you were kind enough to welcome me and plot with me and talk to me. Identity Crisis: 3 Kunoichi

Leanardo had expected to find Katsumi, but had run into Karai, instead. Her resemblance to the ninja was striking, and what was more, she seemed to be the daughter to the Shredder. So why hadn't she heard of her before...?

She shook her head as it pounded again again. It didn't matter. Karai was part of the Foot, and she was higher up in rank. She had her orders, and she shouldn't question them.

"Who is it? The target?" Leanardo asked, her eyes searching the humans that walked on the street below. She would have to draw them away and out of sight, whoever it was that Karai wanted her to get.

Lea fell to the ground, instantly reaching for her neck as she gasped for breath. The robot fell to the ground in pieces, a few beeps emanating from it before it fell silent.

Her vision gradually focused as she struggled to her feet, putting a hand against the wall for support and looking up from the ground. Lea froze, hesitating as she saw the unmistakable figure who had saved her.

She didn’t even know what to say; only one word left her:

"Why?"

//I'm hella biased but I love Karai and April's relationship. Frenemies has never been so interesting. I could see both girls getting along great (not to mention I kind of ship them but that's beside the point) if Karai wasn't governed by her father so harshly.

((Yeah I'm a big fan of the 'good kunoichi vs. bad kunoichi' rivalry dynamic they have going on in the show. It's great because they liberally dish the sass back and forth like it's a snowball fight, and neither of them will take each other's crap. And it's fun writing April struggle with the moral dilemmas your Karai keeps tossing at her, too. X3 I wonder what tomorrow's episode will bring?))
