but THAT SAID, i will answer your questions because they're awesome, but i will not make another list of questions.
so, LET'S GO
1. If you could gain the ability to shapeshift into one animal, which animal (you can go between this animal & human at will)
HAWK. Man, if I could fly places, that would be the BOMB. I was about to say some smaller bird, so as to avoid unwanted attention, but I figure I'd need to carry my phone or wallet around with me. So I need to be big enough to carry a load.
2. Wand, cloak, or stone?
Cloak, duh. Stone is totally not necessary, since I don't even know anyone who's dead, and I sure as hell wouldn't want to bring back to life anyone who will die. I'm not really one for power, either, so no to the wand. But INVISIBILITY. Imagine the shenanigans...
3. What’s one character you’ll always defend?
Castiel. I mean. He just tries so hard. And I admit, he's fucked up, but it's because he takes things on himself and.. UGH
4. Go-to comfort food?
Sour skittles. My mouth literally watered thinking about sour skittles.
5. Ideal vacation spot?
Geez, I don't know. Somewhere dry, cool, with clean air and plenty to do. Kind of like New York, without the pollution. Yeah, I can't think of anything. But I'd like to go to France for a month.
6. Talk to me about your ideal pet(s) (how many, what species, colors, names).
Bunny. I. I have no details past that. I find every color of bunny absolutely adorable. As for names... I'm thinking Peter or March (as in Peter Rabbit and March Hare). I don't think it matters, since I'm probably going to spend more time calling it widdle-wuffelumpugus.
7. What’s a song that always makes you want to dance?
Jesus of Suburbia. The beginning chords make me swing my arm like I'm jamming on a guitar, and it's all uphill from there.
8. Do you like painting your nails? What colors?
No, because I bite my nails, so the nail polish never really sticks. Plus, I worry it makes my nails look very obviously stubby. But if i ever got past that, Iron Man colors: gold and hot rod red.
9. Favorite candy?
Funnily enough, it's a three-way tie. I mentioned sour skittles already, but sour gummy worms and sae kom dal kom (it's Korean) make the list as well. Seriously, some relatives visited from Korea, and all I asked they bring was sae kom dal kom.
10. Rain or snow?
Snow, bro. You can ski, make snowmen/angels, and have snowball fights. You just get wet with rain. You can do things with snow. Rain happens to you.
11. Talk to me about your favorite pair of shoes you’ve ever had.
Plaid. Converses. Seriously, plaid is all I need. Unfortunately, I wore them so often it was no longer usable by the time I went to college.

1. What's your theme song?
"When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled. Because I can never get enough of Disney, and the song SOUNDS upbeat... but I still feel like I'm waiting for things to get better, cooler even.
2. What's your favorite animal?
Bunnies, man. Have I ever told you about that time my sister nearly crashed the car because I freaked out over a bunny hopping into a bush? Seriously, if it were up to me, I'd sleep with a huge pile of bunnies, with their little bunny ears, and their little bunny tails, ooh and their little bunny noses....
3. What's your favorite book/movie series?
Either Inkheart or Inheritance. Inheritance definitely wins Best Ending Award, but Inkheart has a way of bringing me back to my childhood that even Harry Potter can't live up to.
4. What book/movie is your guilty pleasure?
(wow figures illyth would have so many questions about books and movies) I can't think of anything I've read or watched that I feel guilty about.... Pokemon 2000 is the best I can come up with. I used to own it on VHS (I know, 90s kid), so I watched it all the time (my older sister was always like, "How old are you?"). I don't watch it anymore.
5. Favorite color?
Dark blue. None of that sky blue crap. Go navy or go home. My favorite color has been very consistently blue throughout my life, although I did have a purple scare for a while.
6. Which element do you feel most connected to (take this however you will: periodic elements, natural elements, etc.)?
~*~carbon~*~ the building block of all organic material. No, that's such a cop-out. Um, I don't know, does light count as an element? I believe (I may be wrong here) if you split the world between yin and yang, change and dark are on one side, while stability and light are on the other. My chosen American name means "lighthouse of the sea", which I do strive to live up to. A constant, even in the most tumultuous of times.
7. What element would you most like to bend, and what element would you most realistically bend?
Water, because I can't swim. I've seen too many movies to not fear for my life in case I happen to fall overboard or see a drowning kid. But in all seriousness, waterbending would be SICK. I never have to detest the rain because I could be dry in a heartbeat. Plus, I could feel free to mess around with it without worrying about accidentally killing somebody. I have no idea what you mean by "realistically" bend. Nobody can bend elements in real life. I'm sorry to break it to you like this.
8. What's your favorite language?
Sign language. I learned a few words from my to-be roommate, but not nearly enough to hold a conversation. It's succinct and intuitive, plus it requires expression and body language. Like, raising your eyebrows can distinguish a question from a statement. How much you exaggerate your gestures can replace exclamation points and a number of "very"s.
9. What is your relationship to the most influential person to you?
I'd hate to talk about family, because that is way obvious, but I'd be doing a disservice to not talk about my mother. Stepmother, actually. I was literally the only person in the household who liked her, so she took it upon herself to impart every piece of advice she could to me. It was only when our dorm decided to write nice things about each other and nearly everyone wrote the same thing about me, that I realized that I had taken at least one of her lessons to heart: never speak ill of someone behind their back.
10. Fantasy, Science Fiction, or neither?
How can you ask me to choose? How dare you? Fine, I choose fantasy, just because dragons. And magic.
11. Favorite and least favorite words?
Oh man, helter-skelter is a wonderful word, because I cannot hear/read it without imagining a person on rollerskates for the first time, pinwheeling their arms and rolling into every tree and dog leash. As for least favorite, Calories, with a capital C. Because food and drink companies use it to mean KILOcalories, but call it Calories because "kilo" makes things seem fattening or something?? Like seriously, just use the correct term. Stop misinforming the public about how much a calorie is. Just stop.

haha, sooo i kind of wrote part of the now you see me au already - it was supposed to be my big bang, and is ot4, but i got stuck and here's a little section of the fic which might never see the light of day
“If anybody’s the lovely assistant, it’s you,” Skye informs her, in the middle of slipping her dress on.
“Why?”
“First off, because I’m a better magician than you, and secondly I’m a twenty times better con woman than you are,” she replies cheekily, ignoring Jemma’s obvious eye roll.
“Oh please as if-“
“Also, you look hot in the red sequins,” Skye says.
There’s a flush that falls across Jemma’s cheeks; the beautifully awkward creature that she is coming out for a second, overtaking the usual composed and aloof look that she aims to project.
“Well, in that case, I could be alright being the assistant, but only for one night.”
“Deal!”
