Have you ever wondered how your fart would look like after you've taken a bite out of a rainbow? Well, wonder no more my child. Wonder no more . My first render in Blender. A free open source totally kick ass 3D software that's exponentially growing it's capabilities to take over the VFX world. Maybe they already have and I've been slow with the catch up . When I say this is my first render I mean I learnt the basics, which is navigating the software's UI, and quickly jumped into rendering what I've always wanted to do, render a colorful fart. The whole learning took about 5 hours of messing around. The whole modelling thing took about 3 hours while following a kick-ass 15 minute tutorial by @lotsalote. Yeah I know, the math doesn't add up. 15 minute tutorial took 3 hours...errrgghhh . That's nothing tho, the whole thing took 9 hours to render. That's around one sec of finished footage per hour. But to be fair and forgiving, I ecked up the render settings. Won't happen again . Next up, a recreation of the scene from THE SHINING. #blender #3d #lotsalote #render (at Kochi, India)
