About your lesbian baby art: What if Asami and Korra couldn't get babies and they go to the spiritworld and some spirit (of fertility perhaps?) grants their wish and pulls a deus ex machina so one of them drinks a drink, they kiss and boom preggers. And their baby is some kind of wicked spirit baby that can spiritbend or shit because why the hell not it's a spiritbaby.

YES I was thinking of something like that!! As far as I’ve figured I was thinking Korra would use her Avatar powers to somehow put a bit of herself in Asami’s body, and through some magic spirity logic Asami would get pregnant. And yeah i was thinking maybe the baby wouldn’t be completely human, probably half-spirit (maybe the whole thing happened through Raava, and even if she has a mix of Korra and Asami’ DNA she’s really Raava’s kid???) and would have some special abilities. 

There are spirits in the Avatar universe that look completely human, the best example being the Painted Lady. Maybe she was also born from a spirit and a human. So even though this headcannon seems over the top, I can’t help but think that there could actually be a logic behind all that.

Another way this could work was if the kid was created by Raava (who is after all one of the ost powerful spirits out there). She would give Korra a child that would be half-spirit and half human.Korra would give birth to them like any human would. Technically this would mean that the child is not Asami's, though, but she could still raise them with Korra.
