Pls have the two old guys looking over something that they're utterly disgusted by.
Maybe they're looking at my WIP folder and seeing how disorganized it is...
Anyways, more drawings soon!

I put the squid in covers that are now tangible for what an outfit for a Day Out might mean!
Also hi, art fight is coming up! I'll be getting to asks in the midst of it, though forgive me for not going full render on them <3
Not much in ask answering right now, but I wanted to at least show off a cozy scene between the two older hive members!
(They were arguing the whole time, but this is a destressing activity for them. It's enrichment.)
From @my-own-personal-l , with their giga questionair!
@ all characters: so, it's well known that mind flayers can eat brains/thoughts. How a mind flayer feels about this may vary, but of everyone you've met or adventured with, who would be your "guilty pleasure" brain snack?
Transcript Below!
First Panel:
Ekethe: Unfortunately, my options are severely limited by my party members either being dead, dumb, or dying, or some hellish combination.
Lotusen: Ah, for me, our present wizards would make a wonderful meal. Sweet Curiosity, and Savory Optimism! A fine combination.
Second Panel:
S'anuk: O-Oh! Well I don't like to eat the brains of people! Or in general m honestly I would rather have to just eat animals, but it's all sort of bland until I flavor them with Lotusen! They know a lot of flavor combinations and texture preference, but despite that--
Third Panel:
Sa'keret: Ekethe's brain sounds good.
Ekethe, off screen: HEY
S'anuk, visibly uncomfortable: ...oh.
Sa'keret: Spicy too.
Plum, tired, 1 R?
(Guess you can say they are... Plumb tired! <expression native to southern USA dialect, means "very exhausted">!)
Here you go! One plumb tired Illithid! They were writing some songs too late and now they got to go rest in the morning.
Lotusen, holding onto tea as the sun rises: Oh! You're up early.
Plum, rubbing their eyes: ...I'm...going to bed?
Ұ How tall is your character compared to their peers? Wanna see squid height comparison pls, who's the tallest out of your illithids?
This took a whole lot longer than I expected it to, but here you go! Asides from outfits that may carry heels over, generally speaking, all of the squids are either average, or above average height!
Sa'keret standing the tallest at 7'2" feet (218 centimetres) would be an intimidating force upon the battlefield. Not only is he large, but he also has the strength necessary to take down whatever is in his way.
S'anuk stands at 6 feet (183 centimeters) of a fairly average build. Generally dpeaking he lowers himself a tiny bit to look closer to the ground, but it is hard for him to get a balance on some things as walking can be a...task. Overall, lying low has been his forté for as long as he can say the words moss.
Lotusen and Eketh stand at 5'8" feet (173 centimetres) tall. The only thing is that Eketh had a hunched over posture that remained while be was exploring the surface, which had gotten worse when he went through his werewolf transformation. Lotusen kept themselves upright to cause less suspicion on their completely covered form, but also because of the pride they carry with rheir knowlege. Overall, they do not suffer physically as Eketh does, but more mentally.
Which gives the funny scene of Eketh trying to boss anyone around and it's just Sa'keret interpreting the scalding words as like...a kitten's paw.
Hope this helps!
From @my-own-personal-l : @ all characters: if you had a chance and the proper resources, would you try to start a hive of your own? Why or why not? Who would you want to be in it or Join if you did?
Ekethe narrating: Hardly anyone seemed to care about re-instating a new hive. It was almost as if they preferred the low numbers, the constant arguments and debates. I can hardly stand this...useless group. But the only time I've considered expanding was when I was rid of my party structure. Falling into extinction within my world...of course, it seems that they are ashamed of what they are. I don't get it.
For the rest of the group, however, they seem indifferent to remaking a hive, apart from Lotusen, who is leaning back in their chair.
Lotusen’s thoughts: Remaking a hive would fun! Including non-illithid minds would make things all the more intriguing. I would have the wizards that I am familiar with in my world as a main part of the hive. But maybe S’anuk and Plum can stay. Ekethe seems a bit hostile to my open idea, and Sa’keret is disinterested in rejoining a hive.
Question for OP:
Since they have assorted animal companions and come from a medieval setting, does Lotusen qualify as Disney royalty? ;)
