RAPID FIRE HEADCANONS GO
~~ Booker and Gus BOTH have social anxiety, so when they're hanging out somewhere they have to quite literally play rock paper scissors to decide who does certain social interactions (like talking to the cashier)
~~ Gus likes reading while Booker doesnt (No matter how hard Gus tries to make him like it)
~~ Booker would like photography! (Is he good at it? Not reallyyyy)
~~ Booker and Gus are both teenagers, Booker is only 15 while Gus is 16
~~ Booker draws Gus a picture of them both hanging out every year for Gus's birthday, and Gus has kept every. Single. One. (He proudly hangs them up on the walls beside his bed)
~~ Booker doesnt like being on camera/having his picture taken :(
~~ Booker is kind of childish (in a /pos way)
~~ Booker sometimes texts Gus really ominously without meaning to (Like if he wants Gus to come over to his house he just texts, "Come here.") Gus has to constantly tell him that he needs to stop making his texts sound scarier than what they mean
~~ Booker's house is constantly rly messy, so Gus comes over and helps him clean it up
~~ Kind of on the topic of the last one, Gus will constantly come over to Booker's house and take care of him whenever Booker has a depressive episode

I could imagine all of these, especially the first one 😁
The town must have a reason for viewing them as outsiders/weirdos, even if their reason is bAD 🍅🍅🍅
