20. favorite character to write

goddddd do you know. honestly? it’s louis. he’s just such a fucking turnip, it’s amazing. like listen to this shit

“Shutup, Liam. Be silent. We can’t wake up Niall or he’ll kill me and I’ll have tokill you,” Louis hisses. 

“he already said no,” louis sighs to emphasize his pitableness. twice would be too much for any human. he would have to become a seagull.

“There’llbe no funny business unless I deem it funny,” Louis says.

This is Louis’ part within them.To drop into the tension of moments when they’re all at different ends, andblow it to high heavens. To parse them out individually and fit them all backtogether, stronger, more directed than before.

“You know what to do.” Louis says, catchingtheir eyes one at a time, the link all at once. “Hands in.”

“Louis‘the Tommo’ Tomlinson.” Louis announces himself with a series of table bangs,like he’s descending a staircase, being introduced to society. 

Louis throws an arm over his face dramatically and sighs.

and there go liam’s stupid dinner plate hands pulling louis close, tugging away too easily out of louis’ shaking hold - and when did that happen. louis gets sidetracked staring at the uneven motion of his hands. he can’t stop it. it just goes on and on and on and it hurts -

21. least favorite character to write

i have my hard days with all of them, honestly. i don’t like writing canon harry/liam very often bc i have v little patience with them and if zayn isn’t actually really gay then i’m constantly seeing this neon flashing sign of “NOMINATED FOR AN ~ALLY~ AWARD” in my head and that’s annoying. and louis may be fun to write, but he’s also prickly as hell and all my most complex scenes tend to happen w louis bc there’s so much to fucking untangle about louis as a character. niall makes me feel lonely sometimes, when i write about niall being niall. 

overall, i detest writing any of them, if they’re str8 cis boys <3
