He sat there, shaking in his shoes, staring at the exceedingly good-looking people sitting next to him at the bar, the ones he’d overheard making fun of his oldest brother for the past ten minutes.
“He… he may not be the best-looking or most well-spoken guy in the universe… and yeah, maybe he is a little bit pudgy, b-but… that’s fine! No one’s perfect! That doesn’t make it alright to talk about him like that behind his back, okay?”
He wasn’t confident in his defense at all, and it clearly showed in his nervous, fearful eyes.

She stared down at her phone screen, a small smile on her lips. A hand was even brought up to cover her mouth as she giggled- something that turned into a habit of hers since she was younger. Homura turned her phone screen toward the boy beside her, opening her mouth to say something, but no ones being said. Nothing could be said as the boy had pressed his lips against her own, Homu letting her phone drop to her lap and her eyes widening with utter surprise. When he pulled back he could easily tell just how flushed her face was- and how upset she looked.
“Why would you do that!?” Tears were in the corners of her eyes, and she hurriedly wiped them away.
