Are Friends - Love Chunk - 2013

On the 1st of May Andrea and I started working on a duo we call Are Friends.  Today Andrea leaves for India to study Tabla, but she was able to finish recording all of her parts for our debut EP "Love Chunk" before leaving.  I will be finishing up the rest of the recording this weekend.  Then its on to mixing and mastering.

You can expect "Love Chunk" to be released sometime in June.

The Lion the Music and the LoveChunk.

It's Thursday night and being squished in between tons of your classmates at Panama Hattie's trying to get that free drink just doesn't sound appealing.

You want to sit and talk with your friends, you want to listen to classic hits and some great covers and sounds of reggae, sublime and Third Eye Blind. If this is making your ears scream then head to the White Lion on Thursday Nights.

Love Chunk may not sound like they have it all together, but singer Sam Adam's has a surprisingly smooth voice that can handle a wide range of songs.

You can sit with your friends, talk and have a drink or get up and dance- They do it all. When sitting in the room you can see the meshing of all different groups of people come to hear this one band and it's a pretty neat thing to see.

To be able to rope in such a wide range audience is something that people get paid to do and this band is doing it by just singing songs they love.
